"A friend of mine mentioned that she bought this food for her dogs and that it was grain free. I bought Wellness core to help alleviate the tear stains on my Bichon/Papillon face. Also, he is picky with food so I thought I would give this a try. I could not be happier with the results. His eyes look better and he will eat the food. I would buy this food again and would recommend it to others."

"My pickey Terrier needs a zero grain food. This is one of the best we have tried. I mix this with Orijen(which i wish PetCo would carry, hint, hint) or I alternate. My dog wont even consider eating a "normal" protein % dog food after eating these high quality products that offer higher protein and of corse thats in relation to the meat content. This food offers 34% protein, which seems to be a good balance for my dog. The Orijen has even higher at 40% protein, but for my dog that is to much to feed exclusive for long term. Look at your dog food ingredients, most have protein in the mid to high 20% range, meaning less meat, plain and simple. dogs in the wild dont eat grains like corn and oats, they eat meat. thats why its hard to find a dog that doesnt like the taste of these high protein foods. at 2y.o. my dog is very healthy(just had complete blood workup, A+), active, smart, and has the energy to Rollerblade a few miles a day with me and still want to play ball all night long!!! this is good stuff, highly recommended. and if you think the price is high, you dont have to feed as much due to the high protein count, actually saves me money over cheaper food."

"Our two year old dachshund/lab mix was a rescue who's coat was in not so great shape when we got her in July. It's been three months and the change is domestic. People are always saying how soft she is and her skin is no longer flaky and dry. Plus, our girl is pure muscle (now to get her to stop pulling) and has great energy. She loves to just go and go. Best of all she loves eating it. We do mix it with some of the Wellness wet food, but only to add variety; she'll gobble her food down without the wet food. I'm so glad I did research before deciding a dog food. Wellness is going to help our girl live a happy, healthy life."

"I have 2 of the fussiest Boston Terriers on the planet. They would not eat their food. My wife and I had to mix in canned food to get them to eat. I will not mention the brand that they were eating but it was a good brand. My mother suggested Core because that is what she feeds her Boxers. The first time I fed my Bostons core they kept their heads in the bowl until they were done. They have been eating Core for almost 6 months and they are still excited to eat it. Every time they hear me opening the bag they do a dance. Their coats are shinny and soft. I highly recommend this food to any dog owner. You will not be disappointed."

"Absolutely the best food my very spoiled and healthy bulldogs have ever been on. My female, Haley, is allergic to EVERYTHING, so this food was one of my only options. I switched both of them to this food and have been completely satisfied. They eat every last kibble and look great. Their coat is super shiny and they have tons of energy! Highly recommend this food! If you truly love your dogs, do the research, you won't be dissapointed."

"I changed my Chihuahua's dry food to the Wellness Core formula. She's a very picky eater, but she took to this food really well. She now eats everything in her dish (give or take a few kibbles). I've noticed that her coat is extra soft and shiny lately and she seems to have more energy on this diet. Great food, I got all the dog owners in my family to switch!"

"My retriever mix Chase LOVES this food. He is so excited when I feed him each morning and night. This food helped him lose those few extra pounds that retrievers are prone to putting on, he has no eye boogers like he did on his previous food, his itching has decreased, and he loves the taste.
I have a puppy on the Wellness puppy formula and when she reaches a year old, she too will be eating the Core formula. Core has done wonders and I will continue to feed it!"

"We're constantly trying to rotate healthy foods into our dog's diet and we decided to give Wellness Core a try. Wholesome ingredients, high in protein, and grain free, produced by a responsible company, it doesn't get much better than that. Our dog isn't a picky eater, so it came as no surprise to us when she gobbled it up. We mix Core in with her canned food, and she absolutely loves it!
Her coat is shiny and healthy looking and she has more energy now than she did when she was younger. Healthy food plays such an important role in a pet's life. We have the added peace of mind in knowing that not only is she enjoying her food, but it's wholesome and nutritious for her as well. Highly recommended!"

"my bichon thts now 2 loves it sooo much hes allergic 2 wheat so this is great! he likes it more than the small dog formula and since the bites are small this is a great size food for him i trust in wellness and this is great and right now at my petco i bought this today and they gave me 3 wet dog foods 6 oz! i got 2 chicken and sweet patatoe and one fish and sweet potatoe,really petco is great wellness is amazing thankssss! snowy is very happy! =]"

"Our 20-month yellow lab is a picky eater. We have to add chicken jerky to her food for her to eat it. We've tried 3 or 4 brands but to no avail. Then we tried Wellness Core about a month a half ago. She is not itching & scratching. Her coat is shiny & VERY SOFT. She always finishes her food w/out the jerky. Although it may seem expensive at first, it actually saves money because you don't have to get supplements & spend much on grooming. We love this food for our lab!"

"My basset hound Charlie has been on Wellness Core for 8 months or so. I believe it's the best food I can buy for her. We tried other brands but am very pleased with Core. I love that it's grain free, has high protein (she's VERY active) and no fillers nor yucky ingredients. She has the softest coat (people think she's a puppy), tons of energy(she can run nonstop at the park and bark for at least an hour) and is a very healthy girl. I feel good feeding her Core. Her best friend now eats it too. I wouldn't feed her anything else."

"My Germ.Shep. is 2 years old now. She started waking up with HUGE EYE GOOBERS about 6 months ago. A friend suggested she might be allergic to grains. I researched dog foods and decided to try CORE. She is a dog that is NOT very interested in food. She has a high drive and would rather WORK than eat. She loves the food and within 4 days no longer has EYE GOOBERS, I must admit, I was SHOCKED at the results. I would never feed her anything else!"

"I researched dog food for WEEKS until I settled on Wellness. I really wanted a grain-free food that was not too high in calories for my small breed pug.
I was a little skeptical because my 11 month old pug is the pickiest eater I have ever come across.
I was used to her not even eating half of her daily allowance of food because she did not like it. I was buying an even more expensive brand at the time.
The very first night I gave her this food, she licked her bowl CLEAN!
She loves it and has continued to eat all of her food every day since!
The transition was completely smooth (no stool or behavior issues) and she even seems to have more energy than before- not that she needed it.
I would recommend this food to absolutely anyone."

"I have a 17-month old Chocolate Lab who has battled skin allergies and a very sensitive stomach. After trying multiple organic/natural foods, we had settles on Science Diet Nature's Best. I felt good about the nutrition but Abbey obviously didn't feel good about the taste. It was almost as though she hated dinner time! Well, I did more research and came upon the Wellness line. CORE seemed perfect for her skin and her tummy. I was right! We made the switch and she is a happy dog. Her coat has never been so shiny! No flakes or irritation visible at all. And she obviously loves the taste. Also, she has had no potty problems with this food (you know what I'm talking about!). It's worth every penny we pay for it and I'm so glad Petco carries it!"

"I've been using this food for about a year with my Belgian Malinois. She previously had and extremely sensitive stomach with bloody stools. This required trips to the vet and meds. Since I switched to Wellness core not one problem. She is a working K9 and the extra protien is great. It has helped maintain her weight and mucle tone (she looses weight easily)."

"My dogs both loved this food, and that's saying a lot. Our older dog is just about the pickiest pup out there and this is one food we had no trouble getting him to eat. They both did well on it too: shiny coats, lots of energy, firm stools, etc. The only reason we took them off it is our vet was concerned about having a "senior" dog on a high protein food. Although, this food isn't nearly as high in protein as some of the other grain-free options out there, and if we don't have success on our current food I will go back to CORE. I HIGHLY recommend trying it at least once. You'll really notice a difference in your dog! It's also very competitively priced compared with other high quality foods and now that Petco carries it, it's much more convenient as well."
