This is a great dog food

This is a great dog food that is very healthy for dogs. Has lots of good nutrients and ingredients that dogs need and is not full of a bunch of fillers and junk ingredients. Since being on Wellness, my dog doesn't eat nearly as much food as she used to, a small amount fills her up, her coat is nice and shiny and soft with very little dry skin, has more energy, and she gobbles it up, which is an extra bonus. Even our cat likes the Wellness dry dog food.

Our dogs thrive on this grain-free dog food, especially since the older one has allergies. Having it shipped to our home was most convenient, and the delivery was fast.

We had been feeding our 2y/o Yorkie Rachel Ray's dog food and he was doing just fine on it, however after seeing the change in our 3 y/o cat after starting her on the cat-version, we made the move over with the yorkie also at the end of his last bag of Rachel Ray food...
The change we have seen within a month is just incredible - first of all, we are able to feed less (just less than a cup p/day, split between two feedings - the food he was eating before called for up to 1.5 cups p/day for his weight) and the shine on his coat is just beautiful.
He was never a picky eater and will eat anything if it stops moving long enough, however the transition over to Core was seamless (transititoning slowly over the course of a week) and he didn't have any issues with his GI system adjusting.

Our dogs (Beagle and Shepherd/Lab Mix) LOVE this food. We used to feed them Purina Pro Plan and they wouldn't always finish their food. But they love Wellness Core! Plus, grain-free is a really smart way to go. It's worth the money. Plus, our vet oncologist says it is what he feeds his dogs.

I did a LOT of research on a food for my awesome Boxer, Boo, and Wellness CORE is what I came up with.
CORE is PACKED with protein, has zero grain and the rest are veggies and roots proven to keep dogs healthy. Wellness CORE is also one of the very few companies that verify their fish meal is not preserved with a known carcinogen that far too many other companies use.
Boo LOVES her food and is trim and very healthy with very healthy stools to prove it. Only 2.5 cups a day keep her fit, trim and happy. I can't recommend this food more!

medium sized kibble, fresh-smelling product, appears to have much better nutrient balance & seems more palatable than other high-end dry food like Blue Buffalo

My 6 yr old rescued Boxer loves this food, and I like it because it's a healthy choice for her. She's had multiple surgeries for mast cell tumor removal and I am trying to maintain a relatively grain-free diet for her. I highly recommend this brand and flavor. I'll be purchasing again.

This was strongly recommended to me by the breeder of my Weimaraner. I can see why! Both my dogs love the stuff! It costs more, but you get what you pay for! I want to keep them strong and healthy for years to come.

Decided on this food after reading many comparison reviews. We sometimes scatter the food on the floor for Benson to eat, and during the transition period, I found him hunting for the Wellness Core and skipping over his old food (Nutra Naturals Venison and Brown Rice). And he'd never turned his nose up at the old stuff before, but he is SO excited for meal time now! It's a slightly smaller bag, but we feed a little less due to the increased protein content so cost and frequency of purchase are about the same.

My dog has been eating Wellness CORE for the last 4 years. 4 years ago my dog was diagnosed as 'pre-diabetic' so we had to change to a grain-free food (as well as change her medications). We switched to a Wellness CORE because it is grain-free. My dog loves it, and her glucose is under control. We have also been able to maintain my dog's weight so Wellness CORE doesn't appear to be high in fat. We are happy with the results.

my dogs LOVE this food. i've been feeding them wellness since they were puppies and a friend recommended grain free to help with their itching. i didn't think they scratched a lot, but when i changed their food, they did scratch less.

Both our dogs (a golden lab and a lhasa) have been eating this food for over 2 years and it's been great! We started the lhasa on it when he had skin/coat allergies and it's made a huge difference. Plus, the dogs gobble it up every time. It's high quality and we've never had any problems with it.

I have a female BC and of course everyone knows how active these breeds are so a high protein based is very good for her. I'm glad I found this natural brand that does not have all the junk that a lot of common dog foods carry. I strongly suggest to always look at all the ingredients in whatever you feed your family friend.

My Cavachon is a fussy eater and I'm STILL trying to find a food he'll eat. This wasn't it. He turned up his nose and walked away. But my GermanShepherd has no problems with it. I just wish they made kibble more enticing for dogs. Is there ANY kibble that dogs actually WANT to eat? I haven't found it.

We wanted to feed our dog something healthier than Science Diet so we switched to Blue. Sadly, it made him really sick. Next we tried Wellness CORE and it's great. He loves the food and we are happy knowing it is made with more wholesome products and less fillers.

I've gradually changed my 2 dogs' diets, finding that more expensive food usually means feeding less. The Wellness Core works great for my 2 dogs - a 3 yr old Shepherd/Lab and a 2 yr old American Bulldog - their coats are amazingly glossy, smooth, soft, no skin problems (well, we're in FL so there are a few things that itch but it's from biting insects not lack of nutrients)...and it takes very little quantity to maintain their weight at a healthy level. Their energy is good without being 'hyper'...and their stools are nice, compact and firm. I use this kibble for my treat bag when we go on walks - I highly recommend this product...it's all and more than claimed.
