"Small enough for small puppies to eat. I was lucky to have my dog start eating Wellness Super5Mix Just For Puppy Food when it was ready to eat kibbles. My puppy loves the taste. After he grew older I switched him to Wellness Small Breed Adult then Wellness Simple Solutions. WELLNESS HAS THE BEST PRODUCTS EVER!!!!! "I did a little research before switching from Royal Canine to this brand. My pooch has a bit of a sensitive stomach so I was skeptical. The very first day I added it to his regular food, he finished the entire bowl before I could turn around!! He loved the Wellness Puppy Food. I'd never seen him eat that fast in my life. I added a little bit of the canned Wellness Puppy just because he ate his food so quickly and he inhaled that one too. He has never shown this much love for his food ever. I'm completely sold on Wellness."

"I've done some research and finally decided to switch over to wellness for puppy for my 4lb yorkie. This food contains no by-product and wrapped in a nice bag and seems to have good quality. However, my yorkie is not that crazy about it and only eats when he's very hungry. This dry food is kind of hard for small dog and requires time to chew. I now also go back and feed him Eukanuba small breed brand and he seems to eat it more comfortably. His waste is also more solid and firm. I guess it depends on the taste of different dog..."

"In my senior year at college (i have a degree in equine since) i had to take animal nutrition. we went over of course the horse but as well as dogs and cats. we talked about all sorts of diffrent foods to feed dogs and one of the ones at the top of my professors list was wellness.
My parents have two dogs both where over weight and just did not look as good as they could have. So I tolled my mom about wellenss and about how i learned about in class and how good its soupose to be. so my mom bought a bag to try and not only did the dogs just love it but after one week both dogs coats started too look better than they ever have. After a few weeks you could see they where loosing weight and where more energetic (there adult dogs). they have now been on it for 3 years and my mom has no plans of taking them off.
my husband and I just got a puppy a week ago and the first thing i bought for him was wellness puppy. He just loves it can't get enough of it. i have also just noticed the other day that his coat is really starting to shine and look nice.
I just can't say enough about how much i and my dogs have loved wellenss. I have seen it work!"

"Started our puppy on this as soon as we got him and he absolutely LOVES it. No matter what he is doing, he stops and runs to eat this stuff. We even use it as a treat when training him. Love the ingredient list since I know that he isn't getting any of "bad" stuff."

"Recently switched our 7 month old puppy to this from solid gold. He eats anything and everything, and I mean it. Stuff off the floor that he shouldn't have and any kind of treat. He is not picky at all, ever.
I absolutely cannot get him to willingly eat this food. He takes one sniff of it and walks away. When trying to force him to try it, he spits it out. I leave the food out hoping if he gets hungry he will try and eat it, but he would rather starve than eat this and purposely avoids the bowl.
Also, it smells like fish food and has a very unpleasant aroma to it. I hate even opening the bag.
Switching back to Solid Gold, I guess.
This was a very disappointing purchase."

"I started my yorkie on this at 8 weeks of age and she has been eating it eer since! She loves it, it keeps her coat shiny and healthy and she is happy!

"I started my puppy on this food and I switched to another brand. After a half bag of the other food, I noticed that he was just not as happy in the belly as he had been on Wellness Puppy. I switched back now, and I'm excited to report that his belly is back to being happy and full of nutrients; not junk fillers."

"I bought this food for my shih tzu since I read that they can be allergic to corn. This food has a great level of nutrition and no by-products or preservatives (or corn). Its been a few months and he still loves it, I plan to feed him the puppy formula until he's one year old after that switch him to the Core formula from Wellness* but I woudln't switch to another brand. I think that this is the Best dog food out in the market."

"I changed my 9 months old english bulldog food a month ago from Eukanuba (Lamb and Chicken) to Wellness for puppy and I have to say WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!

"We have an 8 month old shih tzu and we had been thru at least 4 different dry foods, after being fixed she would not eat anything. She had been on chicken and rice for 2 days after surgery and forget it I could not get her to eat food. Then I picked up a free sample at the pet store of the Wellness and Yippee she loved it. I put in 1tsp of wet food in the am and pm just hard food and she loves it.."

"My Havanese's breeder recommended this food and my puppy absolutely LOVES it!! It is all natural and holistic. No fillers and nothing artificial. He is healthy as can be and his coat is so soft and shiny. He starts dancing on his hind legs and whining when I pick up his dish to put food in it, it is so adorable! I was even able to use this food for his training. He is 7 months old and knows how to sit, stay, lay down, come, walk on a leash without pulling, rollover, dance, shake, and play dead and was potty trained using these as his reward! I think he is as smart as he is because of being fed a high quality food that supports healthy growth and development. Rookie also like the Wellness Puppy treats as well!"

"I was very pleased to walk into Petco recently and find they are now carrying this line. As a breeder of English Bulldogs I have used Nutro brand for years and after extensive research had decided to use the Wellness lines. The ingredients are superior with NO corn,wheat,dyes,soy, perservatives and hormone-free meats. After 3 weeks of changing to Wellness Puppy I observed a remarkable change in my puppies. They are far more entergetic and their coats glossy with healthy elimanations. The tear stains on their white faces was also reduced. They prefered the taste over the Nutro Ultra. Wellness has earned my full and continued confidence!"
