"My dog has severe food allergies. He's allergic to just about everything and every dog food I've tried he's either hated or been allergic to. He eventually started to lose weight because he wouldn't eat anything. Once I switched over to Natural Balance he started gobbling down his food and gained some healthy weight back. I couldn't be happier and wouldn't dream of feeding him anything else."

So digestible - stopped the "can't make it out"

"I have a 13-yr old 'brown hound', Lady, and a 10-mo old Havanese, Timmi. Lady started to have problems digesting and was having diahrrea and not making it outside every few days. Timmi only gets 1/2 a cup of food a day, so you don't want to waste space on something non-digestible.
They've never been picky about a flavor and if I had to get a different brand they seemed to enjoy a change. Lady, Timmi and my long-haired Chihuahua won't eat anything but Natural Balance L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets Lamb Meal & Brown Rice Formula Dog & Puppy Food. I'm glad Petco isn't far to drive and I'm glad I can order online!"

Perfect for dog allergies

"Our 5 year old Great Dane had skin allergies and repeated ear infections for most of her life. After trying several high end dog foods I finally tried this one. We saw immediate results. Her skin is all cleared up and she hasn't had an ear infection since she's been on this food. We mix it with other Natural Balance Grain Free foods. I will never feed her any other brand of dog food. We travel about 60 miles one way to buy this dog food. The only place in town that sells this foods charges $20 more a bag then Petco does."

"The breeder we adopted our dog from swears by this brand. If your vet is putting your dog on a Science Diet Prescription diet, consider NB LID as an alternative. Our french bulldog loves the Lamb and Rice, it doesn't give him diarrhea, and his flatulence is greatly reduced on it."

"My two large breed dogs are prone to several allergies year round. The worst is a skin allergy beginning now. Since I have started them on the Natural Balance L.I.D (since March), their skin, hair loss and other allergies have significantly improved."

"This food was referred to us by a relative that is a vet. Our Golder Retriever has severe food allergies and medical issues that other dog foods would make him itch and constantly bite or lick at this arms. We bought this food and he does not lick or bite at himself. His coat looks great and we have not experienced any more hot spots. HOORAY."

"This food is the best! Great coat and an energetic 9 yr old pointer who has to be coaxed to eat anything else. Appreciate no gimmicks like 'breed specific' or big/large breed foods from companies that want me to think I need different products for different dogs. Can you imagine marketing food for short people or tall people? Just a wonderful food."

"We just got a 8 week old Beagle pup and decided to try this food. The breeder fed him Purina and his coat was not shiny and looked dull. We switched him to this food and his coat is soo shiny and soft now. He loves this food!"

"My dog was diagonosed with allergies to carrots, peas, peanuts, flax seed, and sunflower oil. The only dog food to fit the bill was LID Lamb & Brown Rice. Thank goodness Simon loves it. I would like the Duck & Potato and Fish and Potato to remove the flax seed so I can offer Simon variety, but for now I'll be grateful the LID Lamb and Rice fits the bill"

"We acquired L.B. ( Black and Tan Coonhound / German Shepherd mix) after some flooding in our area and his previous owners could not be found. We had him on a decent dog food and noticed he had a lot of dry skin and itching problems. We did some research and found it was allergies. Come to find out L.B. is allergic to chicken, wheat, beef, venison, etc. So, we decided to give NB LID a try. It has been about a month and a half to two months now since the switch. Well, L.B. loves it and his coat is shiny, the dry skin is all just about gone and his energy is a lot better. He loves this food and so do we."

"I know this is a new formula on the market. My dog is 1/2 Westie-1/2 Poodle. She has horrible allergies, to the point that she chews her hair out from her mid-back to her tail area. At first we thought she just had fleas, because the vet said that allergies normally don't make them chew in their behind area. But, I've battled fleas, and found none!!! So, I've done some amature research & figured that I'd try changing up her food to see if that would improve the situation. Well, the itching & chewing has improved & the hair is growing back!! Also, my dog just loves the taste of this food, she gobbles the whole dish down as soon as I scoop it out for her. I'm hoping that we've found the answer, and that my poor puppy can now just be happy & itch-free!"
