Our 3 cats took to this instantly! They sit on it, lay on it, scratch at it, & play with the toy attached underneath, which is detachable. These also come in a variety of colors that go nice with any decor.

When I first brought it out my cat wasn't interested, then she spotted the "toy" hanging down! She plays on it, jumps off it, lounges on it and generally seems to like it. Although she hasn't used it for a scratching post, as yet. She has stopped using "her" chair! So, I think this purchase is a success!

This product works ok for my kitten but it is hideous with my decor. I was told that the warehouse makes the decision on colors...WHAT?

It is a well made product. I've learned though that you can't second guess a cat. None of my three cats lie on it or use it for scratching. It was smaller than I thought it would be. Maybe that's why they don't lie on it. I should have double checked the measurements. However, in the middle of the night, they do like to get underneath and pull the toy off. I usually find it lying somewhere on the floor in the morning.

This is the best scratcher I have found yet for my rescue cat with sharp claws. Katie has finally backed off the furniture in favor of this scratcher. She loves it and I love it more. Great price for furniture relief.

Most used cat item I have ever purchased! I had one, but found cats waiting to get their turn. I bought 2 more and find that all 3 are most often occupied. FYI, I have always had cats...at this time I have 11 indoor+2 outdoor.

It's not a post. It's not a pad. It's a curved fabric covered thingy that my cat just loves. It looks fine in the living room and Pepper, the big-clawed cat, loves to scratch and play on it. I was worried she wouldn't like it, but she really does.

My two cats spend waaay more time on this scratcher than I would ever have thought. They use it as a scratcher, but they also lounge on it, sleep on it, wrestle it, play with the suspended toy, and hide other toys under it. The appeal eludes me, but they both seem to think it's great.

My three cats love this toy. I bought a blue colored one in store. We just got new carpets in our living room and were upset that our cats might scratch them like the old carpet. I also noticed that whenever my old carpet would get a crease in it or bump after being shifted the cats loved to scratch that even more. This toy seemed like the greatest idea. More than one cat can play with it at the same time. One hides under the tunnel part and one sits on the u shaped part. Mine has a dangle toy with feathers on it in the tunnel part and they love that as well. The feathers are all ripped out now but it's ok. I wish I saw this toy sooner. Also its one of the more attractive cat toys.

I call them my cats boca loungers, as they like to curl up on them in front of the fireplace. They do use the scratch surface and play with the attached toy. It's a game for them to pull the toy off and play with it alone. I have 3 cats and 3 scratchers.

This is one of the best cat accessories I have bought. My kitten and cat find it so interesting and they utilize it for way more than a scratcher. It's their hideout, playground and stretching mat, my kitten even run and slides through the under curve, and she loves it.
The only drawback is the attached feather ball easily comes off, I put it back on, my cats rip it off right away. But the feather ball can be used as a toy too, they like to chase it on the floor.

This item is much smaller than I anticipated. My average-size adult cat is too big to lay in the carpeted curve and struggled to get under the scratchy curve to play with the toy. (Also, the scratchy curve broke when I was trying to remove the plastic packaging so the toy is even harder to get to now!) Kitty was briefly interested in the catnip toy when I first took the plastic off (about 5 days ago) but she has shown no interest whatsoever in the toy, the scratcher or the carpeted sleeping area since. Might work for a kitten but is much too small for a full-grown cat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I wanted something that wasn't as expensive as good scratching posts and this caught my attention. The design was appealing, but I wasn't sure my cat would enjoy scratching on it as much as an upright post--I was wrong! She loves to scratch on it all the time on both the scratching part and the carpeted surface. Even though the toy underneath seemed like a poor design, she even loves to play with that as if she is stalking prey in a tunnel. The only thing I would change is to maybe weigh it down a bit so that it doesn't move when she pulls it with her claws, but aside from that, it was a hit!

I just adopted two new kitties and I started to see these little rambunctious guys deciding to use my couch as a scratching post. When I saw this online, I just had a feeling this was going to be a hit with them. They are nuts about it! They love to lay in it while the other one lays under it. They like this more than my couch, which is the whole purpose, right? When they completely tear this up, I'll buy another one. That's a whole lot cheaper than a new couch! I'd defitely recommend this.

Our cat has a blast with this! She usually is a climber, and prefers trees, but she has so much fun with this! We've played hide and go seek setting it up on its side, she rolls around with it on the floor, grabbing it with her claws, and loves the little feather ball underneath! If we pick it up off the ground, she jumps up on it and has fun that way too! Very versatile and gives you the ability to set it on the ground like the photo shows, or prop it up against a wall in order to get a better stretch while scratching! Great buy.

Our kitten (now 6 mos old) loves this scratcher. We put a soft blanket in one end and he'll curl up to nap in that end, while using the other to scratch. Bonus, it doesn't look horrible in the living room and the colors match our home.

I personally find this scratcher very attractive, but it isn't attracting my cat quite as much as I would like. He really enjoys the little toy in the cubby though. It doesn't really allow him to get a good stretch and scratch either. But it looks good! And he does like it, just not as much for the scratching.
