"When leaned up against the side of my couch is protects it completely but is too flimsy to use vertically on its own. When horizontally on the floor my cat will occasionally play on it. Overall would not recommend except to protect furniture."

"I am very happy with my Multi-Purpose Scratching Post and would highly recommend it. We bought two and put one at each end of the couch (one of its uses is as a couch protector scratching post). It has saved my couch."
