"I don't care if this cage has 'many' levels. Hamsters,Gerbils&mice need floor space of atleast 4 cubic feet. And this doesnt provide it. If your tight on money you shouldnt be adopting an rodent since their vet bills&monthly cost Really does add up."

"This is good for beginners especially. If you want to spend your money on a cute cage you should get a "Here and There Hamster and Gerbil Cage",but i have heard those are sorta hard to set up and clean.This is exspensive to make cute because you have to buy tubes and other things. Good for beginners,start out with this and then move to others. This is easy to clean too."

"This cage is ok. The bad part about it is that all the animal does is chew it up.I had a gerbil a while back and we had bought this cage for him and all he did was chew on the cage. We bought him chew toys and stuff but he refused to chew on them he would only chew on the cage. Im getting a new hamster on Friday and this time I think im gonna get the Habitrail Ovo Suite it doesnt stink as much as this one and the wheel is much more quiter Iwouldnt reccomend this to a friend. Im not gonna give you orders only advice-please be smart and dont buy this cage"

This was one of the biggest cages that I could find with a decent price. It's easy to assemble and easy to clean.
The two doors provide easy access (one top and one on the side). I actually connect this cage to a big cardboard box by leaving the sidedoor open. My hamster likes to run from one side to the other getting food/bedding/etc.
Overall the cage is pretty sturdy, and I'm very glad I made this purchase.
The only concern I had with this purchase was that the wheel that comes with the cage is too small and very loud. I bought another bigger wheel and set it up in the cardboard box for him. (He actually seemed fine with the small wheel and was rather fond of it, but I opted for the bigger one because I didn't want him to feel cramped).
*If you setting up a habitat from scratch, below are a couple of necessities.
1. Need food dish
2. Need water bottle. *If you only have one hamster, I suggest a 4oz one. It's better to change drinking water frequently, and I think changing an 8 oz bottle every couple of days is just a waste of water. (I use bottled water for my hamster).
3. Need Igloo or small hideout."

"i am back to say that this cage si NOT GOOD it gets messy because your hamster will kick the bedding out of the cage. if you want something like that get a 12 dallor aqauriam tank(petco has some in the fish aisel that will work) want then get the 10 gallon tank addon. it is really good. it makes a 20 gallon tank (10 on top of 10) and then some it is a great cage about ten dallors more but worth it!!!"

"I just bought this cage and so far i love it!! It has plenty of room for my syrian hamster to run around and play. it doesnt come with a waterbotle and food dish but those are easy to buy.the wheel is a little loud when my hamster runs on it so you might want to get another wheel. overall the cage is nice it is easy to clean and my hamster loves it!!!"

"i love this cage the one problem was that the wheel is said to be loud i did not have a problem because i had gotten a silent wheel earlier. it easily latches on the cage and is wonderful. anyway, the cage is great it gets a little loud when your furry creature climbs but as far as escape proof is is perfect. there is a latch on top and on the side to get in at take them out. have 2 female hamies and they absolutly love it. i hope this review was helpful."

"I got this cage when I got my two new mice. It's huge for a couple of 7-week-old mice, but the just love it. Nice deep base with large platforms that are easily accessed from the tubes. They just love it. Also, it has close bars, and the wires are horizontal so the mice climb all around, even on top! You do have to buy all the dishes and water, etcetera, but that is fine. My one complaint is with the wheel. It is so unbearably loud. First you have the inevitable sound of the mouse's feet, but then, it has a squeaky axel, and it makes this loud buzzing whooshing noise, and you can literally hear it through the walls. In conclusion, buy this cheap, good quality, easy to put together cage, but get another wheel, the "Silent Spinners" are good and silent. But other than the wheel, great buy!"
