"I love this cage I have one female gerbil in it and have not had one single issue I find it easy to assemble the water bottle does not leak and cleaning is wonderful the whole cage breaks down into little pieces for easy scrubbing. my gerbil easily climbs to the top and had it all figured out in about an hour. the wheel does sqeek a bit but if you grease it with some veggie oil problem solved. overall id say this is the cleanest nicest cage I have ever purchased."

"I have this cage and it is a bad cage to have. The wheel is noisy, there is not enough ventilation, and not very easy to feed the hamsters in. The cage is to small for a regular hamster and the tubes are way to wide for a dwarf. I have both breeds. Not recommended at all!!!!"

"This is the best cage ever. My friend got it for her hamster and i got it for my winter white hamster. Its durable and its a great size I dont see how people hate it. i have 2 hamsters in the cage and one will be sleeping in the toobs and the other one will climb right over him and he wont even wake up. I recomend this to every one! Its amazing"

"we have 2 hamsters-snickers and angel. we bought a habitrail for snickers first and then got angel one. its been 2 months and angel has already scratched and bit her way though the THICK plastic cap!!! (just a little hole... for now) and we had to move her downstairs because her scratching would keep use up all night.(even with a sound machine)but snickers loves the cage and is happier than ever. i would really buy it if you have a content hamster! (if u don't it's a total waste of your money!$!)"

"i bought this for two dwarf hamsters. at first it was way too big for them and they were just scared of the whole thing. but then i just put the box behind the main living quarters. then instead of the tubes going up, they go back at an angle. now it's not too steep for them to climb around. i'll have to come up with a more fashionable look for the setup but overall, this is the best habitat i've seen. plus it looks really cool and they seem to be happy.
the only downside is that the wheel is too big for them. i'm going to give it a few more days to see if they just need to adapt. otherwise i'll take the stairs out and get a smaller wheel."

"I love this product. It's bigger than I thought it would be. It only took me 30 minutes to put together. Because I put all of the pieces together then the whole cage. My two robos sugar and spice stay in their cage. The wheel is quiet I can't even hear it. This is the best cage ever. I recommend this product to everyone who has a hamster and dwarf hamsters."

"I just got this cage yesterday, and so far, so good. This cage isn't totally perfect for my dwarf hamster though. I had to remove the steps and connect my travel addition to the cage, due to the size of the cage, and the size of my hamster. I would maybe recommend this cage, but i don't know. I don't like how it is rounded either."

"I bought this cage because it looked so crazy. It was a little hard to put together but once I got the hang of openign and closing it I never had a promblem again. My hamster was not able to chew her way out and loved to hide in the balls and the home behind the wheel. The cage hides odor and is a conversation starter. I will never get another cage, unless this one gets old."

"this cage is one of the easiest cages i've ever cleaned.my hamster, sprite, loves it. although it is probable better for a dwarf hamster. sprite is just a little cramped in there. it's nice because all the tubes and cages lock in place(sprite hasn't got out ever since i've had this cage). it's also very durable(sprite likes to chew on her cage)."

"This is an excellent addition to the Habitrail ovo Loft. I would not keep any hamster in a cage this small, but if you connect it to another one, or if it is an addition to the Loft. We just set up the loft for our Syrian (teadybear), and it is much larger than any other cage that we were able to find. The ovo is a perfect system for Syrian hamsters- no worries of the pet getting stuck in the tubes, and it is so expandable!"

"Putting the cage together was daunting at first, because I'm used to written instructions and not pictographs, but after staring blankly at the pieces and the instrux for about 20 minutes it clicked. Because it is an open design I actually enjoyed assembly. My little hamster was lost at first in his new space - bought the suite and the maze combo - but by 2nd night he had found the wheel and made his nest. An insert in the box explains how to keep the water bottle from leaking by creating a vacuum. I expect cleaning to be simple as I'll employ the dishwasher technique, all cage pieces snap apart and back together easily. When I travel I can disconnect the auxiliary pieces and have easily transportable "shell" cage. If you frustrate easily this might not be a good choice for you, but I have had no complaints and am glad I made purchase."

"For the price this is the worst cage that you can get for a hamster. You barely can see the hamster playing around and is you don't put inside one of those Dward or tiny, tiny ones, a regular one wont fit in the area were the water goes. I have this one for only a week and when I try to clean it with my same hand the top part got broken. So if you don't want to waste your money this is not a good one for your hamster."

"Our drawf hamster had a tough time climbing up the tunnels. The water bottle leaked badly. The only good thing about this product was that you can configure it anyway, just as long as you don't set it up horizontally, which stressed the connections and looked flimsy. The vertical set up worked, but the water bottle was a show stopper."
