Works great at first but then the suction cups keep falling off when you move or clean it. Should be one big suction cup! Good idea.. Bad execution! Sometimes the swivel stops working too. Maybe I just got a bad one but I returned it for the aqeon 500 and it works great!!

Bought This To Start The Cycle On My 30 Gal Saltwater Fowlr Tank But In The Long Run I Would Go With The AquaC Remora Hang-On Protein Skimmer w/ Cobalt Aquatics MJ1200 Powerhead/Pump From Marine Depot .Com Since You Need A Protein Skimmer Anyway. Best To Kill Two Birds With One Stone.

A bit complicated

It is a bit difficult to get setup, you definatly need two hands in the tank to do this. Be sure to have is fully assembled before you try to get in going ( Including the prefilter). The Venturi air injection system on this doesn't work so good.. It is not enough air to get rid of an air pump!! You will still need some more air in the water! I hooked my air pump directly to the Power head and it seems to be working awesome, lots of air/water movement! With the prefilter, you get about a 1 FT stream. Without prefilter and just the plastic strainer I got about 23-25 Inches of stream! This is in a 60 Gallon long tank with a 350GPH filter and I have plenty of filtration. For the price I would recommend this. My fish love swimming into the stream lol! I have had this hooked up for a couple of days and have had 0 problems. Oh, and it is VERY quiet.

I'm using this in my 29G saltwater aquarium. Working good so far (3 weeks). I recommend this for a small aquarium under 29g.
