Great way to hide the box

"this cabinet looks great. I put it together in about 15 min. It was very easy. What I did to combat people saying the cat urine leaks is I just modified my hooded litter pan and fit that in, so no leaking. The company should make a hooded box to fit and it would be a perfect product."

"I just received this item and I thought it was very easy to put together. I read a couple reviews that said it was hard and confusing. Honestly I don't know how that would be possible. Not only are the big pieces labeled a A, B, C but even the little bag of screws are labeled as well. There were extra pieces that they tell you about. Pictures and labels for each step. If you have ever put a piece of furniture this was easy.
As for leaking, I will keep this updated like I said I just got it. But to help, I found Petco online the litter pan, it wasn't hard to find, it's 1/2" short on one side but other wise its perfect. I put a cat mat under the tray and the tray itself has a splash guard.
We will see."

Exactly what I needed

"This table is perfect! I have limited space so there is no place out of easy view to place the litter box and this hides it wonderfully!! I use kitty's wonderbox and it fits perfectly inside of it. My cat has no problems with it either, used it right away when I got it. I've had it about 6 months and no problems!"

Totally useless

"I read reviews on other sites that talked about leaks, so after I assembled it, I used silicone caulk around all the seams between the floor and walls, and halfway up the vertical corner seams. I bought the largest, deepest litter box I could find to go inside; the space is about 18.5x16, and I found a box that is 18.5x15.5. All this was completely pointless, though, because as soon as my (large, neutered male) cat went against the wall, the urine ran to the front edge of the cabinet, under the litter pan, and dripped out under the door. Can't caulk that seam. I guess I could set the whole thing on a giant tray of some kind, but the point of the thing is that it doesn't look like a litter box, and sitting in a tray of cat urine would mess up the effect, as well as being gross and smelly. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it -- having caulked it, I can't take it apart to send it back."

"We put it in our bathroom. Cat took to it right away. Litter box does have to be a certain size. The only drawback is the kitty must have sprayed and it leaked out the side of the pet house, so I put a cat mat to trap that and the litter."

"Product looks great and is relatively easily to put together. However, we found a defect in outs where the door placement doesn't fit; i.e. we had to drill our own new hole so the door would swing shut. Other than that the product is good."

No pan fits inside??

"I gave this item two paws because it is a cute washroom, but that is all. Maybe I am missing something or my cat's washroom is from another planet, because I can't find a litter box that fits properly. The inside width is 17" by 18" long. After going to every store online and locally, I only found pans that are either ridiculously small or .5" to 3" to long! Has anyone found a good box that fits?? If so please post a message letting me know.. Very disappointed.."

"Just finished putting together this thing. I must admit that it was difficult. If you end up buying it, pay attention to the "floor" piece. Make sure its not upside down. Other than that, everything else went smoothly. I just hope my cat poops in it now."

Ok but not great

"I just bought this 2 weeks ago and agree that it was fairly easy to put together. I have noticed that at times when my 1 cat exits, the door swings open. Might be b/c he is a large cat (18 lbs). Like the one review said about using a large, snug fit box - we did and our cat has missed the box 9 times out 10. Because of these misses, the urine actually leaks through onto the floor. Good thing that it is in the hallway off our kitchen sitting on top of sheet vinyl. Otherwise, clean up would not be fun. Also, we use the regular clay liter and that makes a mess. have to vacuum the area at least once a day if not twice. Lastly, the box does not contain the smell at all. I have a Renuzit sitting on top ot it, a Glade Plug-in in the outlet across from it and at night, I have a candle burning in the powder room that is right next door to the box. I think I am going to have to splurge and buy a better unit. One that doesn't leak. I just finished packing this unit up and gathered the box and receipt and I am literally on my way to return it."

"I give it one star because it is a very attractive looking unit, but that's about it.
If your cat even so much as splashes urine outside of the box then it will eat through the finish and start tearing apart the cheap particle board or whatever they used to make this thing.
And I couldn't just go out and buy a deeper catbox, there's only so much room in that opening for the cat to get through it. Any deeper than a normal pan would block off the opening.
My cat's habits aren't the manufacturer's fault but I'm really shocked that they used materials that would dissolve when it came in contact with the urine. The bottom of the thing literally fell out and I haven't even had it 2 months.
Mine went in the trash."

Great Concept for the Price!

"I purchased this pet house for use in my bathroom to conceal the kitty litter box. I am really pleased with the quality for this price point.
Pros: The product was easy to assemble and it fit together nice and even. The cat is is not hesitant using the box.
Cons: Wish the unit were a little taller as the towel rack sits very close to the floor.
Tips that worked for me:
(1) make sure your litter tray is large enough to fit snugly to the sides or you could end up with a pool of urine under the tray. To remedy this, I bought a deep tray, with tall sides.
(2) I took kitchen shelf liner and tacked a square panel of the liner inside the door. I then cut vertical strips up the panel, stopping one inch from top of panel. Trim the bottom of panel flush with "kitty entry/exit" opening. This is a great way to conceal the litter box while also helping reduce litter particles as cat leaves unit. Note: I waited a few weeks to add the panel to allow cat to become familiar with its litter box.
All in all - a great buy!"

"I would recommend this product, but I was disappointed in the quality. I didn't realize until after I had assembled it that the cat entry on the door was set crooked. Assembly was easy, but pay attention to the instructions: if you tighten too far, it creates cracks on the outside of the box that can be seen! Overall I like the product, but I think it is overpriced. It definitely looks better than ordinary cat boxes."

"I love the fact that you have no idea that it has a litter box in it unless you see the cat go inside or you do not empty the used litter on a regular basis. Two things I would change- offer the knob and side rack in brass and stainless - presently it is only available in stainless, which doesn't really match my decor and I would also try to make it easier to assemble. It did take me a while, but it was definitely worth it!"
