Happy We Made Purchase
Date: November 23, 2009
"We no longer have to stop what we're doing to assist him as he now happily climbs to his favorite spot by himself. They are sturdy enough for dog, but light for us to move about."

Nice product, but too small for our needs
Date: October 28, 2009
"I would highly recommend this product for someone with a very small dog or cat that has a problem getting up to a couch or a low bedframe. Our bed is quite high and at 20" this product is not enough to aid our 16 yr old cat in the middle of the night. I gave the pup steps to a friend with two shih tzus and she is thrilled with it."

Going Up
Date: October 12, 2009
"I have 2 pekeapoos that needed these stairs to climb up on the bed and the couch. I had 2-steps before and they used them. Just as PETCO told me when I wrote them about my dogs not using these, "They will get used to them". And they did! Now they 'bound' up them (they are sooo cute). The steps are sturdy yet light enough for me to move; easy to clean (if need be); and not so big as to overpower the area. Yes, I recommend. Oh, and the price - excellent."

Exactly what I needed
Date: September 11, 2009
"I purchased these steps for my little Pug Dogs who could not get up and down off the bed easily by themselves. It works perfectly! I no longer have to get up and pick them up each time they want up and I no longer have to worry about them hurting themselves by jumping down. It was super easy to train them to use them and took less than a hour to have them using it like pros! I used their favorite treats to get them to climb the steps to begin with giving lots of praise when they did it after awhile the treat wasn't needed and they climbed up and down easily on their own."

Solvit PupSTEP

"My 2 year old Yorkie "Dexter" loves to go up the stairs but I'm still working on getting him to also come down on them. These stairs are easy to fold and place under the beds and are very easy to clean. I purchased two one for our bed and one for my son's since Dexter also loves to sleep & hang out on his bed. Also the price was great and the FREE SHIPPPING! sold me on these steps."

My dog can't use these stairs
Date: July 15, 2009
"Just received this product and my dog can't use the stairs. They are very steep and narrow. I was looking to make it easier for my dog to get up and down off of the bed but these stairs aren't the solution. Perhaps if they had been designed differently with 3 steps rather than 4, more dogs could use them. Only buy these stairs if you have a very small dog with a very small gait."

Good product for the price
Date: July 9, 2009
"These stairs are so easy to take down and put back up and even travel with. My maltese and yorkie started using them seriously 15 minutes after i showed them. Now they can get off and on my bed with no problem and no assistance from me more importantly! They really are for a toy breed size dog. Like a Shih Tzu size or smaller!"

wonderful purchase
Date: January 19, 2009
"These steps have made a world of difference in Tobies life. Tobie is a Teacup Yorkie, he weighs 3 lbs. although he thinks he is much bigger. Until I purchased the steps he was unable to sleep in my bed all night with my other animals. I would have to put him in his kennel when I went to sleep to prevent accidents as he is unable to get on and off the bed. We began using the steps as soon as they arrived. Tobie needed no training. Now Tobie is one of the gang, running up and down the steps with ease. My older cats love it too. The only issue I have, is that after a few times of jumping from the top step to the bed the steps move slightly away from the bed. Small inconvience for Tobies freedom. I would recommend these steps to anyone"

Good Purchase
Date: January 2, 2009
"Serves the purpose. If you have hardwood flooring you may want to put a towel or something that the stairs can grip onto. My older pup (1 1/2 years old) was a little skeptical due the wiggling but my little one (4 mos.) loves it. The bend & store away is an excellent device, I can quickly put it up and take it down in seconds."

"A surperbly designed, safe, and sturdy. Ideal for access to couches and beds. An important features is the non-skid pads on the bottom. Side rails are a plus as well.
A great value!

not for large dogs
Date: July 6, 2008
"This is really nice, inexpensive, easy to take in the car. And it works great for my little Lhassa-Poo (22 pounds). But my cocker mutt (38 pounds), for whom I actually bought it because he's 16 and heavier and hairier than I like to lift, doesn't like it much. The steps are too small for him going up, and on the way down, he just gets on the top step and jumps to the ground from there, defeating the purpose for which I bought it (trying to make it easier for him to get in and out of the car). I'll keep working with him to see if he can get the hang of it, but it's awkward for him to take such little steps."

Great idea
Date: June 26, 2008
"I love this product. I have a 3 pound yorkie who is only about 5 inches tall. He started messing on my bed because he was too small to get off the bed, after I got the steps, he climbs down when he needs to take care of business. No more messes on my bed."

"I like them because they're light and fold up. My dogs are getting used to the noise they make when they go up and down on them. Great for small dogs, not really big enough for dogs over 13 lbs. or so."

Love Them
Date: June 14, 2008
"I love it. I am a 3.5 lb yorkie and after 5 minutes of investigating and a treat or two on the steps I was running up & down like a pro. They give me
the freedom I need to eat, sleep, drink & play all
day and night. My moms love the peace of mind they have knowing that I will no longer claw my way up the side of the bedspread or do a gold medal high jump off the bed as I monitor everyones comings & goings!!
Buy them!

Solvit PupSTEP + Plus Pet Stairs
Date: May 21, 2008
"This product came virtually ready to go. I just had to add the peel and stick traction mats to the steps. These steps are great because they are high enough for my bed with memory foam mattress atop the regular mattress. I bought 12" steps previously which are fine for the couch, but not nearly high enough for a bed. I have three little yorkies and it has made it much easier for them to get up and down. The older two were jumping on and off the bed and I was afraid their joints would suffer in the long run. The littlest isn't big enough yet to jump so I was constantly picking him up or putting him down. Now I don't have to. They take very little room and are easy to fold and slide under the bed when not needed. The only drawback is that they are a little expensive. However, I think these will last us many years."

Convenience and portability
Date: May 3, 2008
"Although the steps seemed a bit pricey they are extremely easy to carry and to put the steps up and down. I needed them to get my dogs, both big and small, into the car (high seats from ground). It turns out they are too short for my small dog (Llasa Apso-25 lbs) to use. He won't take that jump off the top step; could just be his stubborn personality. The bigger dog (Shepherd/Chow mix, 75 lbs) will use them to get into the car, although it took awhile for him to trust them. The plastic being lighter weight doesn't feel as stable at first; they would slide a bit when he started up causing him to back off. I found I could steady them with my foot until he got used to them. They work just fine for him now. One other thing: one of the step treads needed additional adhesive to get the ends from coming up.
All in all it was the best price I found for these steps and the convenience of being able to put the steps down for easier storage in the car and for carrying, is worth it. Now if I could just figure out how to train my smaller dog to use them!

Would Be Worth it if both my dogs used them
Date: April 26, 2008
"Got these steps for our two dogs so that they could hop onto the bed while my husband is recovering from a broken leg and wouldn't disturb him. Very light and easy to put together. A little on the expensive side though, especially with shipping and tax and also because my older dog refuses to use them. My other dog, a small chihuahua was reluctant at first but now uses them so at least I'm getting half of my money's worth. The fold light weight and foldaway features are definitely pluses!"
