"I purchased this pet door for my 14 week "Old English Sheepdog". At first she was like what is this, but then she got used to it and loves the freedom of going in and out of the house on her own. We permanantly installed it and it is snug and works awesome."

"I love my patio doggy door. My dogs took to it within the first 3 hours of it being installed. I just wish it came with thicker weather stripping(don't order the recommended kit, it's not made for patio size door). My dogs are 10-15lbs and the medium door is perfect. I am getting a second one for my other patio door. Tip: too make it easier for training, tape the flap magnent down until the dog gets used to using door."

"So far, this product seems very good. Easy to install. Not enough weather stripping and needs to be a little thicker version. Also, I would recommend that the door panel itself be clear as if the animals are already used to screen or a clear door, they are afraid to go though. One dog is used to it after a few days, but the other dog and cat still won't use it - afraid since they can't see through it. Other than that - a good product."

"Purchased this door with fairly low expectations and was pleasantly surprised! I have two shih-tzu/poodles that are 14&17lbs and was able to use the small door opening just fine. Took a couple days for one of my boys to get use to it but once he realized the freedom the door provides, he was zippin in and out of there. Another excellent thing is you don't need to worry about letting them in and out and have them scratching the door to let you know what they'd like to do. :)
The quality of the door is very good and the instructions are very straight forward. It was very easy to install and becareful to put screws in the door if you decide to securely place it there. Only reason for 4stars is because it doesn't come with holes or something to secure it there, i had to place holes in the door and the frame for it."

"I ended up getting the Large Tall door because I measured my dog's clearance from the floor to the lowest point (belly, chest) when standing on all fours. He's only 35 pounds but the largest door just fits him perfectly. When in doubt, get the larger one. If I picked by weight, it would have been too small. I recommend getting the Large Tall for any dog with clearance of 8 or more inches."

"Excellent panel -super easy to install - works great for our minidoxie. No problem getting him used to it - 2 days did it. We're uncomfortable with installing it permanently (drill holes) for the winter, though, so we will take it out when the weather gets cold. We're in way northern Illinois."

"The only bad thing about this product is it did not state that you have to have a drill to install the lock system on the panel and that one side of the lock must be installed on your sliding door. If you own your house this is not a problem, but if you rent like I do, you cant exatly drill into the door. Other than that the product is great and looks great!"

"Great product. It took about 1/2 and hour to install. I did have to place a lock bar on the slider for additional security but overall this is an excellent product. My dog is happy too. It took about a week for her to get used to her new doggie door but now she's in and out whenever she pleases."

96 inch patio panel door

"So far so good. It was not quite as easy to install as noted in advertisement. Maybe 15-20 minutes after you did it a few times. But took us more than an hour. That's not bad but it is heavy and can't easily be done by just one person. Two of my dogs have pretty much gotten the idea to use it, one it still reluctant. However only been in for a few days so far.
I can recommend this door. However, It is flimsy in that the side panels will bow with pressure so the lock can be defeated by pushing in the metal on side of the door. The patio door in our house goes to an enclosed screen room so security is not an issue. However if patio door goes directly to outside, security could be a problem. Perhaps the 84 inch size will bend less. However consider the secrity issue if goes directly to outside."

"I searched everywhere to find this product, to no avail except online. I was able to get free shipping and $100 off here at Petco, so it was a no-brainer to get it from here.
I have two dogs, who are now in and out constantly, but they are able to do it themselves. Everyone is much happier, and my carpet is oh so much cleaner.

"Beware. If you install this door and your pet wants in, or out, all he has to do is push the cover slightly to the side an it pops right out. Moral of this? If you own a puppy, go to the grocery store and come back 30 minutes later, expect to have some couch cushions destroyed. The manufacturer needs to make a bigger lip to hold the cover panel on better. By the way, my beagle is only 18 pounds and 7 months old, so you can see it does not require your pet to be very big."

Great Doggie Door

"I really like this doggie door. However, it does need tool like drill which I don't have and need to borrow from my friend. One of the problems is that I have to choose to either install it to the glass door or the screen door. If I install it to the glass door, I can't keep the screen door open. The other problem I have is the weather pad. It is supposed to taped to the door, but it fell off the first night I tape it to the glass door. My friend told me usually it's screwed to the door. However for the price of the doggie door and the convenience it brings, I can live with these two little problems. My house smells good now. No more PP & POOPOO smell."
