Depends on the breed of dog

I have a english bulldog whom I have been giving these tablets to and have had a lot of success. No spots in my yard I do need to give them year round. To answer a previous question the recommended dosage is on the container it's based on weight and I have seen nothing by means of side effects for long term usage. My friend however has 2 black labs and has not had very much success with these he has been giving them to his dogs for a year now and when the snow melted it revealed many burned areas. The breed of dog is the only variance that I can see that would be causing an issue.

This product seems to be working great

This works great except I have to grind it up to powder and mix in food. My dog does not seem to be attracted to the taste and doesn't like wet food so it is challenging to get it down him without giving him people food to put it in. I would recommend it as it DOES work, just not tasting good enough for finicky eaters.

PETCO Grass Savers

These products have worked wonders for my dogs. My friend read an article that said that none of the products worked, so I took my dogs off them for a week, I had an average of 30 spots in my yard in that week, when I put the dogs back on the Grass
Savers I had less than 10. I put them right back on the product. I also give them to them all winter, as urine can burn the lawn through the snow.

I have two big 50+ lb dogs and this works great. It took a couple weeks to kick in fully, and after drowning out the brown spots, I have no more spots. My one dog doesn't like the taste of them so we have to cut them up into her food, but my other dog thinks they are treats. Product works great and I get lots of compliments on my yard.

I give these to my dogs daily and 0 yellow spots. The trick is that you have to give to the dog once a day and the amount of tabs you give depends on the weight. Could be going through 6-7 tabs a day. Worth It! It really works and it has saved my yard!

Grass Be Green-doesn't work

I have been giving my dog these tablets at the recommended doses for 6 weeks. Not only does it not work, but it seems to increase the amount of times the dog urinates. I have more dead spots now than before I started giving him the pills. Great idea, but it doesn't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
