"At two for 11.99 I consider these pads to be a bargain. And though I would not want to sleep on this rather rough pad my cats love it. As soon as I opened the package and put them out the cats were on them. Amazing!"

"My 2 year old cat has hated any type of bed I've bought for her and refused to use them. I had taken the product out of the package and she was already snuggled on it before I had a chance to place it where she likes to sleep. I love that it keeps her off the bed at night and she's warm and snuggled on her own bed. Well worth the price!!"

"I got this for my neigbours cat, He helps me with many home projects. When were done we sit and have a beer. Put this on "his" chair. He enjoys it greatly. Snuggles right down . Never seen a cat so pleased. He has taken to staying very late in the evenings. I would gladly buy another, especialy if they are made human size."

"The name says it all-mysterious! I don't know what it is but both my cats have gravitated towards these padds, I would rather call them mats. They might not be the most glamorous looking. so when guests come I just put them upstairs in the spare bedroom where they lay a lot anyways but they do work. I would recommend them to anyone, I just wish they looked a little nicer instead of the bland gray color."

"I work in a veterinarian's office and have always heard wonderful things about these pads. I finally got around to buying one and it has been approx. a month and my cat has no interest in it. He much prefers his soft bed. I am not certain why, but it is just not his cup of tea. I still gave it four stars because my cat is the only cat I have ever heard of that did not like it. I suppose that he's just a strange little fellow. Worth a try...just be aware that some cats may not be crazy for it."

"I foster abandoned kittens and use these pads to help them retain body heat. The pads are scratchy, ugly, & uncomfortable to the human touch, but the kittens absolutely thrive on them (I also use one shaped like a deep cat bed). Unlike the other writer, I have thrown them in the wash numerous times. I have also cut one in half and washed the halves and they haven't come apart. I think it is a great cat product."

"You would not think that cats would like to lie on these pads. They are (to a person) someone harsh and scratchy feeling. But there is some quality about them that actually does attract cats, and they will choose to lie on them in preference to much "softer" "thicker" blankets or pads. I don't know why. I know the manufactuer says something about "electrostatic fibers" but I bet they don't know either!!! I saw a newer version of these that said they were "softer" and thought to myself, "oh no, they're making it to please the people & not the cats, I bet the cats won't like it nearly as much!" So try to buy the original. So far 3 of my cats are addicted to these "purr pads". I just wish they came in more sizes/ shapes. By the way, they can't be washed--just toss when too dirty. They are absolutely worth the price however."

My Cats LOVE these Pads

"We bought these Purr Pads for our cats as a treat to help them adjust to a new dog we adopted. As soon as we laid them on their beds they plopped down and have loved them ever since. The pads do collect their hair and dander and hold up well. The new dog has even taken a liking to the pads, when the cats will let him take over their beds, however, he's been a little hard on them when scratching the surface before he settles down for a nap. Good buy- 2 for about $14! We're definitely buying them again!"
