My cat absolutely loves this toy! We've bought her many toys, but this one has kept her attention and she literally flies through the air to catch that bird. I saw this on a TV show and I knew I had to have it. She literally looks forward to playtime with this flier! I recommend it to anyone with a cat.

The feline flyer is an absolute must. It is great for exercise in a simple and fun way that stimulates your cat's natural predatory instincts with minimal effort in operation.
Our 3 cats cannot get enough of it. We break up play into short sessions with half hour to hour long breaks. We keep it hidden in the closet and every time we touch the door knob they come running and meowing awaiting their beloved flyer play time.
We love that our cats have an enjoyable time as well as getting a good workout to boot.
It is a great buy and worth every cent, we just recommend breaking up play into short session with long rest and a large play area as your cats WILL jump and fly through the air.

My two-year-old cats enjoy leaping through the air after the feathers, but they also enjoy gnawing at the elastic string. The string is now chewed up and tied in knots in various places to hold it together after only a week's worth of play. I doubt it will last much longer.

my calliecat loves this toy ,would of given it a full five paws if callie wasn't tearing it up all ready!But it seems sturdy so maybe it's just her.I would give it a thumbs up.

My cats absolutely love this toy. Even my 17 year old. She has arthritis and doesn't play much at all anymore unless I dangle things in front of her so she doesn't have to get up. She will not only get up for this one, she'll follow it around the house and play as if she were a kitten again. Very cool! Highly recommend for kitties of all ages.

I love this teaser and so do the kitties. Even Louie who never likes anything or anyone. This cat turned into a kitten in 2.2 seconds.

We have 3 young active boys and I initially bought this teaser to replace an old worn out one that generally only the youngest paid attention too but they all seem to love this one. I get them all 3 going after it and we have a ton of fun. I usually wear out way before they do and toss it on the floor and one of them will grab it and drag it around while the others grab at the handle.

My cat loves the feline flyer. It's great because the flyer makes him very active, so he gets his exercise every day. He runs after and leaps and twists - great exercise for him, and fun entertainment for me. The pole and cord are long enough that I don't get in the way of the fun. I would not recommend using it in a small space.

this toy is OK, but the feather part is so heavy i'm afraid i'm going to knock my pet out if it lands on her head. good concept. poor design.

My four year old had lost interest in her felt string toy that she had for years. We couldn’t get her to jump and play with it anymore, she just got bored and walked away. With this Feline Flyer, she is a kitten again! You can see in her eyes that she sees it as a bird, and she goes absolutely nuts for it. She meows and rolls around, so happy. It’s great to have a toy that brings her kitten out again!

I could hardly get the feline flyer out of the package before my 6-month-old kitten took off with it. When she had a chance, my 3-year-old female grabbed it and hid it in another room. They both play hard with this toy and get lots of great exercise.

I have 3 cats...two older ones and a young one.
This provides great exercise for them, but one of the older cats is afraid of it. The other two cats love to play with it. I like the idea of getting other items to attach to it and will buy one to see if the scardycat like it.

I got a red one for my cat. He loves it! It wears him out at the end of the day. It imitates a bird flying very well. It also doesn't really lose any pieces of the feather, but could probably break if you left your cat unattended with it.

This would be great if the feathers were smaller. The ones that come attached and the extras you can purchase seperately are useless. The feathers are so large that my cat turns up his nose and walks away.

I have bought so many of "Da Birds" because they break so easily, but it's really the only toy my cats will play with.
The petco brand is cheaper and better made, and actually "flies" through the air better than Da Bird.

I don't normally review items, but I HAD to for the feline flyer! The second I took it out of the package, my 1 year old kitty was enthralled! It just arrived yesterday, and we haven't stopped playing yet! She carries around like a prized possession! Ok...like a bird... She meows at me to play as soon as I walk in the room. She'll even be so kind as to "deliver" it to me, if she thinks I need reminding! LOL I, too, saw it on Animal Planet, and thought it would be good for my cat. It is sturdy and will provide HOURS of fun and exercise!
