"This collar seems exactly what I am looking for. The nylon strap seems a little bit thin, but I think when it wears out, I can take the receivers off and add a collar of my choice or order a new one.

My little 5.5 lbs dog looks comfy in this collar and it is a snap to put on. Hopefully his brother buddy who is 9 lbs. will not break the buckle when he tackles him as it is a thin plastic snap-on buckle. But his long fur does not get caught in it when I put it on like the rubberized Little Dog collars.

I can not comment on the battery life as I haven't had these collars very long. I have been turning them off when I remove them in the evening. There is a flashing light that countinuously flashes, wearing the battery down.

Since my dogs are rough with each other, I'm not sure how they will do with these new receivers/collars.

I thank the company for suggesting I try these collars for my small dogs. I don't think I would have considered these as they are listed for cats. And they work well with my PetSafe system except for the boundry is different for these receivers as compared to the "big" dog receiver. What I mean is that the "big" dog has a larger warning and correction zone and the little dogs are almost ontop of the in-ground wire before they hear the warning tone/correction. So the flags are not a good reference for them, however we always walk inside the flags to still give them a visual clue where it will be "safe" for them.

We started training on level one. Then worked up to level two with not much of a reaction (a head shake). On level three, my dogs got more of a correction, but always "come on back." My son came home from school, jumped off the bus and one of the little dogs ran eagerly to greet him. The receiver must have increased the correction as he proceded into the zone but he quicly turned back into the yard.

I think these collars will be a nice solution to having three tie out leashes getting tangled around everything."
