"This 2 story hamster house is the best thing to add to a playpen because it keeps them busy. My teddy bear hamsters love it! They love to climb in the holes too. I would keep it away from the walls of a playpen because they might climb over the playpen walls."

"Because it's wood, it's not made to last, so don't buy it and expect it to last any length of time. Your rodent will chew away at it, but that's a good thing. At least it's pretty cheap.
My hamster likes playing in it, though she won't sleep in it. Cleaning it is as easy as shaking it out (assuming you don't have a sick pet). It makes for a great toy for your hamster/mouse/gerbil."

"My little fancy mice LOVED this cute house!!!!!!! They sleep on the first story and on the second story there is a little balcony with a place to put there treats and they love that too. They eat on the 2nd story and It was a FANTASTIC BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"its pretty good. i bought it for my gerbil today and he takes treats from the treat box and eats them in the bottom. only bad thing is that the doors are small. i have a 10 gallon tank for him and so the house may leave no space for a wheel and food dish. but he loves to go inside so all in all i give it a 4 star rating!!"

"This House is so fun! All three of my hamsters have loved it! They like to climb on the roof and sleep in both the top and bottom! Each hamster had his own favorite place on the house! It has lasted a long time and is not smelly! Definately worth the money or even more than I paid for it! I would definately recommend this product to ANYONE with a hamster, no matter what size the hamster is. I've had a huge Syrian long haired hamster use it, and two different dwarf hamsters! They absolutely love it and so do I! :)"

Hamster doesn't play in it a lot

"I bought this play house for my Winter White dwarf hamster named Wiggles. It wouldn't fit in her cage so I put it in the cardboard box it came in with some bedding on each level. At first she wouldn't climb in it and just tried to get the snacks I put on the food dish and then tried to get out of the box. The roof was to her advantage so she easily could get out of the box. So I put her in the bottom level and blocked the ends with my hands so she could get used ot it, she just wanted to get out!!! I don't know if it is just her that doesn't like it or if the little play house just isn't worth the money. I wouldn't recommend to owners with climbers, the hamster could get out. My hamster would much rather sleep or crawl out then play in this "Play house." Also try putting it in a play pen."

"This is nice stable playhouse. One of the few playhouses I've had that my hamster wasn't able to break in some way. She loves to climb in/out/on top of it and enjoys chewing on it, as well. Good buy."
