Great odor control, but can be a dig box.
Date: November 13, 2009
"I bought 2 bags the last time I needed to change litter and since it was only 1.00 more per bag than the Marshall's, I decided to give it a shot.
This is a great litter smell wise. Having 4 ferrets the litter box can get full in a short time. This controls the odor better than anything and actually makes the room smell pretty nice. Thus, you can get by not changing the litter as often.
My experiences though have shown thats it's not as easy to scoop as oppose to Marshall's and any time the litter is changed, the ferrets will dump 1/3 of it out into the cage thinking its a dig box.
I'm not really sure how to keep the ferrets from using it as a dig box, transferring a few "messes" from the last one over to the new doesn't stop it.
That's an issue I've never had to worry about with Marshall's.
Though the litter box smell has been eliminated, once I'm done with this supply of litter, I'll be switching back to Marshall's. It requires more upkeep to keep the smell down, but for me, it eliminates a bigger mess in the end."

"We have two bunnies and have tried many varieties of litter. This is by far the best, but most stores don't carry it."

Best litter for ferrets
Date: August 5, 2009
"I used to use marshal litter for my little girl along with the water odor control formula and there were still horrible spells in the room with her litter.
I started using this and noticed nothing at all even when all 4 corners were being used by her. After a week or so i decided to try it without the water control and still no smell. I have been using this for nearly a year now and it has yet to fail me.
The only time it does not work is when she gets awnry and decides to move the liter box out of the corner to go to the bathroom where there is no liter."

"I've used this product for both guinea pigs and a pet hamster and LOVE how great it is at maintaining the level of odors.
As long as you're good with the upkeep, I definitely think you'll find that corncob is MUCH better than the paper and wood litters, especially when doing spot cleanups.
It also helps with keeping the actual housing free of ammonia smells, compared to that of other types of bedding."
