"I purchased this a whim after discovering our hammy was pushing the CareFresh litter out the corner of her 10 gallon tank before peeing; needless-to-say, the smell was horrible and we were willing to try anything.
Simply stated; it works. We put down a layer of these aspen pellets and then cover them with the CareFresh bedding. She still clears the bedding, but leaves the pellets. The best thing about these pellets; not only do they absorb the urine (along with the smell) but they also revert back to their original wood pulp, clumping in the process! This makes cleanup a snap!
So if you have a furry friend who refuses to leave the traditional bedding in their bathroom alone, these pellets may work wonders. Thanks to Petco for offering so many options - finally found a nature-friendly solution for the smell! =)"

"I love this litter and it is totally awesome for my macaws. the only downside to this litter is that I can't use it with my cockatoo. She is apparently allergic to it and since she has such small nostrills, when she gets into it, she ends up with totally clogged nose."

"I really like this litter. It is dust free and has a nice clean smell. I haven't noticed any odor from my guinea pig cage since using this litter. I hope they go back to the smaller size pellet - it might make it easier to clean out the cage. It seems expensive -- but a bag lasts a long time."

"This is the BEST bedding that I have ever bought for my rabbits. This works wonders it masks thier smell. It just smells like wood and no more stinkie. I wish I found out about this bedding when I got my first rabbit. I definately will use this bedding from now on. I don't have to change as often as the wood aspen shavings."

"I was using Carefresh for my guinea pigs before I found this and I absolutely hated it! It always started to stink only after 2 days. So I always had to plug my nose when I got near the cage. Plus it was just so dusty and made it look so messy.
We ran out of a gigantic bag and I found out about this bedding. I decided to try it out. It never started to stink! I only have to clean maybe once a week. Even when we were going to clean it, it still wasn't stinky. It just looked dirty.
I very much recommend this product!

"I have 2 pet mice and this bedding helps so much! Let's be honest, they smell a lot, but Aspen Supreme Pellets keep the odor down. It absorbs the smell so it keeps a sweet lemony aspen smell. Plus, it's safe to swallow. That's good because they try to eat or chew anything they can get their little paws on. I recommend this product to anyone with a small animal."

"This stuff is GREAT! I used to use carefresh for my ratties, but it always smelled bad after two days and i was going through way too much litter. So the next time i was at Petco, I picked up a bag of these aspen pellets. They are amazing! I only have to clean once a week now, and even though the cage is due for cleaning today(Saturday), the cage has no smell except a pleasant, faint woodsy-lemony scent. Even my mom thinks it smells good, and she doesnt like small animals!"

"I've been using this product since 2001. If you have a bunny, you know that the bunny itself does not smell. Their urine is a different matter though. After the first couple weeks of using just corn cob litter, my husband said the bunnies had to go. Then I found this stuff. I actually use it as a base and sprinkle corn cob litter on top. It's a great solution. If you have one bunny, you can probably go a couple of days without changing the box. I have two bunnies per room though, so I dump the boxes each night. This stuff ensures that their is no odor. It's the best!"

"I've got three ferrets who spend half the day in a cage, I clean them often, but are always looking for the cheapest and most efficient way. The paper products usually just smell like wet paper, simliar to wet dog, hate it. I really had good luck with corn cob bedding, but I wanted to try something different again... I acutally forgot to clean them one day because there was no odor. When I first used the product there was the nice aspen smell. That was Saturday, todays Tuesday and I just cleaned them, only because I realized I hadnt cleaned them. But still no smell, and I'm finding myself using less, so I dont have to have such a giant bag to last me so long."

"I use this product exclusively for my 5 ferrets. This litter works at controlling odor. I find that the litter still has an odor but it is not an altogether unpleasant one. This is the first litter that the ferrets don't kick out of their litter box. Will continue to buy...especially for the great price!!"

"I have used many types and brands of bedding for my bunny and this one is by far the easiest to clean up and it decreased the smell of his urine. I would recomend this bedding to anyone who has a small pet. It works great..Noodle and I give it thumbs and bunny paws up..."
