"I bought this wheel for my hedgehog Abby. She loves to run on it even though she is a little to big for it. If your buying this wheel for anything smaller than a hedgehog it would be great. Its made of a bendable cheap metal that is easy to break. Anything over 2 lbs running on it is a bad idea."

"My Syrian hamster, Chester, suddenly showed know interest in running on the plastic wheel included with his cage. I thought he was sick or hurt, as Chester has always loved running on it. Then, I saw that his wheel was too small. I found one of these wheels in my garage and placed it in his cage. It was bigger than his old wheel, and he loved it! He ran for the rest of the night. I had to go back to petco and buy a new one however; his original wheel was a very UN-manly pink! (although he didn't know- hamsters are color blind!) Anyway,I gave it four-paws only because it squeaks, which doesn't bother me, but it could be annoying to some people. Other than that, It's great!"

"This wheel is not built for chinchillas, even though the ad states that it is for chinchillas. It is far to narrow for the adult chinchilla. Not recommended."

"The smallest of these wheels have been fabulously entertaining for my mice and younger gerbils. The bigger wheels are wonderful for my grown gerbils. These wheels provide hours of entertainment for my little buddies! My only complaint is that it gets a little bit squeaky. A dab of olive oil on the spokes takes care of it."

"I bought this for my dwarf hamsters and the love it! They all try to get on it at the same time and it is entertaining watching tham run on the wheel. Even though it squeeks it is ok. That can be solved with some oil. ^_^"

"I have a dwarf hamster and he is a very enerjetic little guy. He has a small cage so I didnt think I would have room to give him a wheel but this one is very convinent because of the size, but at night it was so loud and I tried rubbing oils on it but nothing worked. Finally, I threw it out. Then I got some sleep. Great product, except for the noise."

"This wheel is great! To get rid of the squeaks, just get a qtip and swab where it connects with either vegetable oil or olive oil. The mesh is good for my gerbils because it ensures that there is no danger presented to the feet or tail (which can be accidentally amputated in the wheels that just have bars) It also stays much cleaner than plastic wheels."

"I bought this wheel for my hamster thinking that he would have more room to run on it where the cages sold have small wheels in them. My hamster can barely run on it. It is loud and sways from side to side when he uses it. There is no way for him to run on it at all because of the swaying and its very annoying at night. I would not recommend tihs product to anyone."

"i bought this wheel for my teddy bear hamster, Panda, and it works perfectly. it is not a solid wheel so the waste will just fall out. it does make noise but i just put a little bit of olive oil and it stops. i got used to the sound of the wheel squeaking so it doesn't bother me so much. i'm very glad i bought this wheel and i will buy this for any other animals i get."

"One morning i wake up to silence and i knew something was wrong,i ran to my hamsters cage to find their old(plastic,3 month old)wheel broke.i got used to sleeping with all their noise.Right away i had to rush to petco and get my 2 male robos another wheel or they would attack eachother for the other wheel.IT IS A MUST THAT I HAVE 2 WHEELS ,to keep them from fighting.anyway i was upset when i saw that the smallest size was sold out so i just grabbed the next size.they both fit ,side by side,so they dont have to kick eachother in the face anymore!also i was VERY worried the first night because it is practily silent!overall it is a wonderful buy for the cost and the 7in. works good if u have two active robos!"

"The wheel has been perfect for my feeder mice. I have two of them, one for each cage of breeders, and they are in constant use, sometimes with 2 or 3 mice at a time in it with the lighter ones getting spun around by their little buddies who are heavier when they stop for a second and let them jump in. It's hilarious to watch. Before you put it in the cage put a little dab of Vaseline on each arm, just where it rotates, and give it a good spin, and that will solve ALL your squeaking problems for months at a time, while the mice won't get into the Vaseline and make a mess if you are judicious in your application. Probably the best single thing for the price I've bought for them in the store. It only took them about a day to figure it all out and then it was off to the races at all hours of the day and night. One of the best things about it is that its solid metal and hard to get hold of so that they can't really chew on them either, they're much better than the plastic ones for that. It is light enough for several mice working together to move around the cage though, even in the big 7" size."

"My Hammie go crazy on it like a cat is chasing her, she enjoys it. Unfortunatly her cage is in my room and the squeaky wheel keeps me awake all night. I have tried using oil and the squeak always come back. The wheel is now crooked and easily falls off the hinges."

"Ned (my hamster) loves running on it ALL night long, it squeaked at first, but before I even put it in his cage I put cooking spray on it and hasn't squeaked in months. My dwarf hamster, Delilah, also loves it. She runs so fast her feet get blurry, and you can't even see them! Vaseline also helps stop the squeak, just messier."
