"My Lionhead rabbit hated this! she fought tooth and nail to get away. Once I managed to get her in it, she freaked out. She was flipping around and spazzing out just trying to be rid of it. It had no trouble slipping off her in the end, whether due to her thick silky coat of the design, I don't know."

"When I bought this for my Guinea pig, I put it on her just as the instructions said. She was terrified! I don't think she liked having something around her neck. Now, every time she even sees the leash, she's terrified! It's the same way with my other Guinea pig. I guess it would work fine if you train them not to be scared of it, I just don't want to traumatize my Guinea pigs."

"this product wasn't the best thing i ever bought because the frist time i put this on my rabbit she chewed right throught the front so it did not last very long but ive tryed other harness to see if it's just her and she never did that with her other harness and i think she was just very uncomfortable in this one"

"Its fun being able to take my rabbit out and not worry about him hopping to far off and chasing him. Hes happy that he doesnt have to be stuck in the housse all the time as well. I still advise be careful where you decide to walk your rabbit."

"I just got a 8 month old ferret not to long ago from a guy how gave Podo the run of the house all the time. Trophy pet,you know.
anyways. He dos'nt like to held much so I tryed the harness. Podo never had any problem with it.

"I do not recommend this product for ferrets for a few reasons. The first thing is that the buckles are on the bottom of the harness, which can lead to them dragging on the ground, especially with a smaller ferret. Secondly, the straps do not have any way of fastening the loose ends when they are adjusted, so that they flop all around and can also drag. Thirdly, the Velcro can only be adjusted to a certain point, and it is easy for a squirmy ferret to loosen. Because the more secure buckle goes over the Velcro, it is hard to tighten this harness enough to make it stay on. Also, because of the Velcro/buckle combo, this is hard to put on even a patient ferret, and certainly not a ferret who is dancing for joy because it is time for walkies. Fourthly, even though this harness claims to be adjustable, because of the placement of the buckles and Velcro, it is actually less adjustable and less secure than a regular harness. All in all, I would not recommend buying this for a ferret at all, though it may be suitable for other small mammals."

"I trained my rabbits by putting the harness on INSIDE and let them run INSIDE for a WEEK.Then, I hooked on the leash and let them run around and drag it behind them INSIDE for a WEEK.Once your rabbit is used to being on the harness,go out to a yard,and take a five-miniute walk around you home.Make sure you give lots of treats!!!"

"My guinea pig hates this, and I can't seem to get him to like the strap under his chin. Guinea pigs just like to hide anyway, so the idea that they're going to walk around in the open is a little odd. Maybe if you tried it on a young piggie they wouldn't mind it..."

"I bought this to use to take both my bunnys (netherland dwarf and dutch) outside in the spring. And they both hated it! Not only did they try to chew it off for the brief time it was on but they both managed to get out of it. I would recommend that if you bought this that you keep your reciept so it can be returned if it doesn't work out."

"I had a similar experience as other guinea pig owners posting here. I bought this so I could take my guinea outside and let her nibble grass safely without worrying about her wandering off. However, she did not like wearing it, it was too big and as soon as we got outside she squirmed out of it and got away from me. Luckily, I caught up with her before one of the neighborhood cats appeared, but I did return the harness and leash to the local pet store where I bought it and they were nice enough to take it back. It seems like it would be good for rabbits, but if you can, take your pet with you to the store to make sure the size is correct when buying or ask the store if they will accept a return if it does not work out."

"While, as many of the other reviews complained, the buckles are made of plastic and may lead to needed replacement, I highly recommend this harness!
Harnesses that aren't vests (strapped ones for dogs/cats/ferrets) can actually hurt a bunny because of their bone structure and the pressure on the straps. The vest is not only a safer option for your bun, but its also secure.
I personally wanted something more stylish for my bun (who LOVES this vest). I simply purchased some fabric and ribbon at a craft store and covered the vest, making it match the new leash I bought. Of course, it works just fine as is! I do recommend getting a longer leash depending on your situation/where you take the bun."

"I love the design of this harness. However my guinea pig is having some problems adjusting to it. She does look as cute as a button in it though and it causes her no discomfort what so ever. She just doesn't understand that she is supposed to walk in it!"
