The food for a finicky eater
Date: September 18, 2009
"My 4 year old pug had bladder stones removed last year and his vet wanted him on a prescription diet going forward. She told me that it did not taste very good and that he would have to get used to it, but he refused to eat it. I walked by a natural pet food store by chance and the owner told me to try Halo. I first gave him the chicken recipe stew mixed with the chicken dry food and he absolutely loved it. A year and a half later, I'm still giving him Halo (both chicken and beef recipe stews) and he couldn't be happier. I recommend this food to all pet owners I know, it's definitely worth the extra cost."

i tried em all
Date: June 29, 2009
"My small mixed breed just had surgury a week ago to have bladder stones removed. I was told that human food was not good and he needed a good dog food. I read all the reviews that were posted for Spot's Stew and how wonderful they were. So I bit the bullet and paid $4.00 a can. He wouldn't even go near the stuff, if looked as if another dog ate it first and then served it to him.
I won't buy it again and am stuck with 4 open cans and 6 more unopened.

My dog likes it!
Date: April 17, 2009
"My dog loves the Halo Stews in chicken, beef and lamb (we haven't tried the fish). I would definitely recommend this product to a friend- I feel good knowing my pup's getting a healthy, human-grade meal made with real ingredients that I can see individually (as opposed to other wet foods that are one big ground up mush). I would agree with the other poster that I wish the beef were in bigger, more visable chunks... although my dog doesnt seem to mind!"
