"I've had both my dogs (maltese & yorki/maltese) on this food for over a year now and they love it! i used to use purina pro plan, and it seemed to make my dogs tear stains worse! so i switched to this food and it gradually got much better! I would definitely recommend this product."

"I have a 4 year old Golden and he will eat anything, so thats not the probelm. My problem is his skin and gas issues! His gas was the worst and he would get these hot spots all over and he would scratch them til they bled. I tired a few different food until I found this. The gas cleared up right away and his skin gets better everyday.

Cured daily bile vomiting!!!!!

"My beagle spend several months vomiting bile every morning and being a finicky eater. I was told this is common among beagles. I tried everything, including human food.
Nature's Recipe is the first thing that stopped the morning bile vomiting ritual within days!!!

"Without spending an additional $20.00 per bag for the super, super primium stuff, this is by far the best value and my dogs love it! I have a pit bull and a boston terrier mix who have both had digetive problems with other brands of food. They tolerated the switch to this from day one and I don't plan on buying them anything else. Read the ingredients! What more could you ask for?"

"When I got a new puppy, I was looking for a food that didn't have any animal by-products at an affordable price. Many all natural foods can be expensive. Lilu loves this food, she gobbles it down, it's a good for her, and its a good price."

a good food for food intolerance

"I have a three year old golden retriever named Raina. Ever since she was a puppy she's had food intolerances. She will typically eat a food for a week or so and then just stop completely. I tried every food imagineable...I even tried her on a raw food diet with the same results. Having to switch her food every few weeks was frustrating, to say the least, and it worried me when she refused to eat for days at a time. She was healthy and had no allergies, she simply stopped liking each food. When I saw that this brand of food helps to avoid food intolerance I decided to give it a try. She's been on it for a year now and eats almost all of her food at every meal. The only other food she seems to like on a repeated basis is Merriks canned food. At $2 a can she gets it as an added treat every week or so. She has no problem eating the dry Nature's Recipe by itself. Finding this food has helped me to avoid needing to switch her food every few weeks. I want the best food for her and am glad that this food is healthy and nutritional."

"I had adopted a lab/doxie mix last year, he had severe allergies to "regular" dog foods, I did some minor research and we have been using Nature's Recipe for almost a year now and absolutely love it! He does not have the itching / scratching any longer and his coat is so shiny, he almost looks like a seal! My older dog is also in the process of converting to the Nature's Recipe, as she tries to eat his food :-) We have been vesry happy with the product! Give it a try! Sorry Purina, we have moved on!"

"We started our dapple daschund on Science Diet but then she refused to eat. We tried all the Puppy Chows, the Beneful etc. We had a problem with her vomiting every night. This was not a good experience for anyone!! When we went to a large town I asked a very nice person at the PetCo in San Angelo and he suggested some products - so I studied and studied the ingredients and decided the Nature's Recipe sounded like it was for us. We have never had a problem since then and she has no problem eating the food. It made a huge difference in her coat and activity level and her stool. We have now changed from puppy to adult and she never noticed. I highly recommend this product."

"The canned food of Nature's Recipe revitalized my parent's dog. When my good friend's dog became ill after eating Science Diet, I suggested she try Nature's Recipe. Before, her dog wouldn't eat the Science Diet without some wet, but he eats Nature's Recipe dry and is healthy again! This food is so high quality!! I can't recommend this highly enough."

Great price for a premium food.

""I adopted my baby girls, two adult standard dachshunds, about 2 1/2 months ago. The adoption fee included two bags of Science Diet dry food. When I got my babies home, they wouldn't eat. I mentioned this during our post adoption visit and the vet said add water to soften the food. This is about the only way they would eat it. I also had to add canned food to trick them into eating. I talked to a friend and she told me what to look for in dog food and what to avoid--by-products, wheat, and gluten.
After doing some reading of my own, I now know what to feed my babies. They love Nature's recipe. They will eat it dry alone!! I don't have to trick them or mix other stuff with it. Great price for a premium food.
IRONICALLY, Angel developed an allergy to something. We're not sure if it's rice or lamb. The vet recommended that we put her on an elimination diet. Jin Jin is still eating the Nature's Recipe and loves it. Angel is now on a duck and potato formula and is tolerating it. I sure wish she could still eat the Nature's recipe!!"

Best Dry Dog Food on the Market!

"When I first bought my Cocker Spaniel puppy at 6 weeks old we tried giving her Purina Puppy Chow but that gave her really loose stools. We then tried Nature's Recipe Lamb and Rice Puppy Formula and the dog loved it and the food improved her stool consistency within one day. She is now on the Nature's Recipe Lamb and rice Adult formula dry food and she will not eat anything else unless she is starving! She is now 3 years old and is a really healthy dog and we will not buy her any other brand of dog food for her!"
