"I had no idea how large this cage would be when i first purchased it. It was a great price for a nice sized cage to fit any small - smaller medium sized birds.
Pros:
The bars are sturdy

The front door has a long metal swing lock that you cross over the front and hook it through the bars to ensure your bird doesn't find a way out.

Cons:
The paint scratches off pretty easily
in the back there is an odd metal loop that makes hooking up things on that side difficult.
The side feeder doors are flimsy and slide up easily making it the perfect escape for smaller birds.

One major con is that the top of the cage bars don't go vertical, but horizontal, which means if you want to hang a toy in a certain spot, the toy will slide down to the sides.
Other than that the cage overall is a pretty good cage buy for the price.
I would only buy for smaller birds such as, Finches, Canary, Cockatiel, Parrotlet, the tinier Conures, Budgies, the smaller parakeets and maybe a Quaker Parrot, but the bars are thin enough for one good snap to break them."

"I got this cage for my Parrotlet "Archie" and it is huge. Probably a little overkill for a parrotlet but it is great . I can add a lot of toys and have room for him to move around still. I can catch him easy and the top opens for easy access to toys or treat cups. Love the large door in the front and all the space. Would recommend to anyone with a small to medium bird. Great cage!!"

"After shopping around for cages for weeks (and not really seeing anything that I liked), I saw this cage and bought it for my quaker parrot. I've now had the cage for 5 months . It's easy to clean and its very sturdy. Its also got lots of room for toys and perches....I even fit a "snuggle hut" in mine with lots of room to spare! The top of the cage opens up and there is space to put a perch across (an extra perch is provided)...which adds more play space. I'm very happy with it and my parrot loves it!
The only downside is that the food and water doors slide up and down. If you've got an escape artist that's easily solved by a small luggage lock.
Just a word of advice, most of the petco stores I visited didn't carry this cage, or if they did it cost more than it did online!"

"Ordered this cage for my cockatiel. It is HUGE! I didn't realize just how big it was just from looking at the little picture. My bird loves it - he has soooo much room now. This is an amazing cage for the price (I got it on sale for less than $64). Got him a couple of toys & qualified for free shipping!"

"Okay so I bought this cage for my canary because I wanted him to have flight space but I really dont care for the appearance of the flight cage. This cage is really pretty. My canary loves it. He has plenty of room to fly and it looks great in our big ol' victorian home. I will definately be buying this one again if my kids get any other canaries."

"I bought this as a travel cage for my aracari. It's a great cage for an excellent price. While I am only using it for travel, it would make a wonderful cage for a small conure, cockatiel or budgie. Well worth the money."

"I saw this cage in the store and thought, wow that's a big cage for that sale price. This cage is pretty sturdy, not cheap looking at all. I read some of the reviews that some people don't recommend this cage for quakers, but this suits Aflac just fine.
I looked at some of the brand name cages which are more expensive, and you still don't this much space with those cages. Either they're too tall and not wide enough or the opposite. It has an open top he can perch on and he loves sitting on the cage door when its open. I do agree like the previous user, you have to put some paper down or something to catch the droppings when their sitting on the cage door.
The regular price of this cage is still cheaper than a lot of other cages."

"Ok I was at the store and saw this cage on sale. I knew that I needed to get my Quaker parrakeet a new cage so I got it. I LOVE IT! I put my quaker in and he was so happy. He was talking more then I have ever seen him talk. So much room for toys and for him to climb around in. I love the door he loves to sit on it and play around. My only advice is to put somthing under the door when they are out otherwise there is a mess. overall I love this cage and it is alot of cage for its price. I wish I would have bought this the first time around."

"i have 5 parakeets at home, and when i first took this cage out of the box, it was WAY bigger then i expected. After putting in my birds, the cage still looked really empty, so i had to add a lot of more toys and perches. It is a good cage for small birds, cause they have enough room to fly around, but i hate that the the food dishes are near the bottom of the cage, and my birds still only eat from the food dishes i placed at the top of the cage. Overall, good quality cage, and a great deal for a great price."

"I hunted quite a while for a cage that my old (26+) cockatiel boy would be comfortable in. He originally was in a very large cage with his mate. A few years after she died he was spending a lot of time on the floor of the cage. Only climbing up to eat and get water. It seemed to be such a challenge for him that I put him in a much smaller cage but I knew it was too small and started to look for something else.
This was such a good choice. The perches that came with it are great and I had started putting the braided fabric perches in his cage also. He seems to be much more comfortable on them.
Since he has a feather issue on his wings now, I just attached one of the braided perches to the door and he walks down and is then free to wander around on the floor. He goes back in his cage by climbing up the perches.
The door of the cage is very wide and even tho the cage itself is BIG it can be easily carried from room to room. I'd buy this again in a minute!"

"Granted, the size is phenomenal for the price, and it's a terrific color.
For finches, parrotlets, canaries, and budgies, this is a terrific cage.
For conures, senegals, cockatiels, and other small sized parrots that use their beaks and chew, this cage may not be a good choice. The cage wire being fairly thin, and the wire is coated with some form paint I wouldn't trust with any bird that likes to chew and pick. The paint can withstand smaller birds, but the larger ones (which cost more and are often human tame) might be able to whittle off and ingest some of the paint.
Just my two cents. I own this cage and it's great for my parrotlets. But despite its size, I wouldn't get one for my conure."

"Whoa! This cage is the best cage I've seen so far! It is very affordable and HUGE! I underestimated how big it was. It is HUGE. Its bar spacing is even appropriate for budgies. This cage is bigger than some cages I've seen that are $300. The bigger the cage the better is true so get this cage."
