I bought the larger of the 2 sizes. My German Shepherd punctured it the first day. The inner ridges are very thin so it didn't take much for her teeth to bite through it. I tried putting one of the long treats into it - she got a hold of one end and was able to pull the whole treat out in one piece. I tried putting hard treats in it but that just made a mess as they crumbled and came out. Soft treats worked best. As I said, I wouldn't recommend it for a large or strong dog.

Really durable, holds interest, delivers treats

Because of the size, and the lack of any small parts that really allow them to get a hold of it, this ends up being more durable than most of the red Kongs. While they've finally started to wear down some of the ridges, it's taken months to get to that point. Add that it holds treats and filling well and it's a pretty good option. We did get a size up from the recommended, and our 55# lab-mixes are getting a lot of good use. I'm always skeptical about "dental" benefits, but it might be true given their tendency to try to get in those grooves.

Good Toy With the Right Treats

As I mentioned with the Extreme Kong toy, it's all about the treats that you put into the kong toys. Your puppy will like the toy as long as he/she likes the treats inside of it.

Our Dog loves this toy more than her Kong! Keeps her occupied for at least a half hour. Plus, she can't destroy it - very tuff.

My 2 don't really like this toy unless it has a treat in it but most of the time the treats are too difficult to get out so they only eat what sticks out and waste the rest. Wouldn't buy again.

It's a nice toy rather then tennis balls all the time. Well is lasted almost 2 weeks now with an Australian Cattle Dog. There is one big flaw in the toy in the picture they only show the one side of the ball which is the good side. The other side is has and opening in it also but it is much bigger and its like a big + sign opening. Which that is really bad cus it has started to get torn apart their but that the only way you can get the a treat in the ball. So its not that bad but if you have a chewer like my dog yeah would not recommend it.

After going though 5 to 10 tennis balls in less than a year this ball is really durable. My dog loves it. It has become his favorite thing to play with, go and get one.

This toy can entertain my dog for hours. Then, he might forget about it, find it later and the fun starts all over again. The first one we bought has lasted forever and still works but figured we get our dog a stocking stuffer. This is his favorite Kong Toy.

Keeps her busy

I use the kongs to keep our dog busy while we eat dinner. I fill and freeze them and then pull it out just before we sit down to eat. I use the smaller one to stuff with low cal treats including carrots for when I leave to go to work.
They have been indestructible and invaluable since Miley was a pup.

I have a feeling this has saved some of my furniture. I stuff some treats inside before I leave the house and it seems to keep my dogs busy for hours. The opening they show in the picture is the small side, so I was a bit disappointed when it arrived and there was a large hole in the other side, but I stuff a Beggin' Strip inside and it doesn't fall out. I'll be buying more of these.

Sturdy rubber. Fun Play toy. I wish were bigger so I could put a full meal inside. Wish it were easier to stuff between outside ridges too.

Dante's Favorite Toy

My Pom mix,Dante, absolutely LOVES his Kong Stuff-A-Ball, it's his favorite toy. He loves when we put his food inside the ball and he gets to play and have a yummy meal, what's better than that? This Kong ball, and his Kong are the only 2 toys that have ever survived more than a few days of playtime with Dante. This thing is durable, and he loves it more than any other toy.

Wasn't what I was expecting. My yorkie's small treats fall right out of this so it doesn't provide much challenge or entertainment.

Great Kong

The size and shape of this kong make it a step above the others. The slats along the side give it an added dimension and just enough flexibility to keep my dog's interest. It's ideal for solid treats, so you never have to fuss with the remnants of peanut butter, etc.

Brand New One

I purchased one of these toys probably 7 years ago for my first Aussie, and he loved it. The original Kiong toy actually still exists, but my new Aussie puppy has loved it so much that I decided to get a brand new one for her to enjoy. This Kong is great even for dogs who don't particularly love balls, like my old Aussie, and it lasts a loooong time....

My dog can be anxious and is a power chewer. She loves her stuff a ball and it keeps her busy which means the rest of the household is happy. I use the old mother hubbard mini biscuits then add one or two larger biscuit to make it more difficult. As the opening enlarges I use bigger treats. She will bring this ball and drop it at my feet every evening for her "biscuit ball" Love it.

Our dog (a border collie/Australian shepherd)loves this ball and plays with it even when there aren't any treats in it. It's great because it's virtually indestructable, obviously lasting way longer than tennis balls. It holds treats really well too, better than the cone shaped Kongs.
