"This cage is fairly sturdy, and a great price for such a large size. It was a little loud since the metal shelves just sort of sit on the cage, but I picked up some zip ties and fixed that problem. All in all a good purchase."

"I bought this for my small outdoor cat so she could spend cold winter evenings inside. Within minutes, the bottom of the cage fell apart. I had to reinforce it by using ties. Some of the wire was bent. It was too much of a hassel to send it back, so I made the appropriate repairs and am keeping it."

"This is so worth every penny! My ferret loves it! He is still scared of the third level, but he is going up there more. He went from a cage three times smaller to this one, so he is in Heaven! The only set back with this cage is that my ferret cannot get in and out with it on rollers. He is still a baby so his jump is not mastered yet. I just took off the rollers and now he even goes back to his cage and uses the litter box (which he has NEVER done in the past). I highly recommend this cage. Your ferret will love you more for it!"

Only a couple things to think about...

"I bought this cage for my Chinchilla. He absolutely loves it, and has plenty of space to bounce and jump. Even adding some extra ledges along the sides has not made the place cramped. It's huge! But at first when he did start to get excited, going from place to place got really loud. I had to use pliers and imagination to secure the ramps and the platforms because it was "clang clang clang" every time he'd run or jump. If you use bedding in the bottom, this is not a cage you'll want in a carpeted area because the pan is so shallow the bedding all goes out onto the floor. Since my Chinnie is litter trained, that's not a problem for me because he has a blanket in the bottom, not bedding. Other than those two things, this is an excellent choice. It wasn't hard to put together, either. I did it by myself in about 15 minutes without needing hubby's help."

"I bought this cage because my two 8 month old ferrets completely outgrew their first cage. They are over 4 pounds a piece and needed alot more room than their first cage. They enjoy the extra room, have a lot of room to play and sleep. If they keep growing like they are, I hope someone will make a cage bigger but like this one. I like the ease of cleaning. The pan on the bottom could have taller sides this is the only negative thing I can find with this."

"This cage is the best. It has really changed things for us and for our little ferret. I couldn't believe how easy it was to put together and what a quality product it is (not easy to find these days). Our ferret now has room to run and play and on those days when I am away and can't let him out to play I don't feel as guilty. Having the cage on wheels is great as I can change his view of the outdoors or he can watch tv (he's a BIG Red Sox fan) This is really the only way to go if you have a ferret. I agree that the tray design could be improved but I put a tarp under the whole thing and this is a big help. (I can't get my ferret to use a litter box--just one corner). Marshall products are quite superior--food, etc. Thanks."

"I am very happy with this cage. We have two ferrets and they are extermly comfortable in this cage. I love how the bottom comes out and it's really easy to clean. If we wanted a thrid ferret (which I hope to eventally talk my boyfriend into) it would fit comfortable. The pan isn't as deep as we would like. We also are having trouble with the the bottom door falling off. Bent durning shipping other then that this is great deal."

"This is our third cage we had bought. This one is really big and it houses our three ferrets extremely well. We have enough room to hang a pet house, a hammock, a tunnel and another hammock, plus 2 water and food dishes and their litter pan. Even though our one ferret likes to jump from the 2nd shelf, he likes to jump into the hammock hanging beside it...so he actually doesnt get hurt. This cage is also huge enough that if we wanted to get any more ferrets, they would definely fit without a problem."

"This is the best cage I have ever bought and trust me I probably own almost every large cage that Petco sells. It is a really sturdy cage and SO EASY TO PUT TOGETHER and to take apart. It is also very portable if you wish to take your pets on a trip and need to take their cage. I have 3 igloos in it, 2 hammocks, lots of hanging toys, etc. and my ferrets still have tons of room."

"We received our cage this morning and we had it assembled within 10 min. The description does not emphasize that the cage is all metal and very sturdy. We bought it for our chinchillas and they seem to love it. They cannot chew threw it, like the have done with our past cages. The ramps seem to hold very sturdy and I cannot see how they would fail. They hook into the metal framing and the levels, so if you assemble it properly, there is no chance of the ramps failing. The only downfall of this cage is that the tray is not deep enough, but that is a very small setback. It is a way better cage than the more expensive ones in the store. Over all, it is a great deal and you will love it."

"This Marshall's Ferret Mansion is absolutely awesome!!!
Cooper loves her new home and uses every level . It is huge with lots of space and room for her to move around when she is in it. Cleaning is made so easy with the removable tray and moving it is a snap with the wheels.

"This is such a great home for ferrets! It only took about 5 minutes to set up and was fun to design the interior! You can change it any way you want. My ferret absolutely loves it! After putting him in it, I wondered why I hadn't upgraded sooner! The other cage he was in was so small, but now he has tons of room to run and exercise. I left the bottom open, and that's where he chooses to play with his toys and run around. I would recommend this to anyone with 1 to 3 ferrets. There is tons of room in it!"

"I bought this cage about three months ago for my ferret Neiko. I thought that this would give him more room to play in, since I get extremely busy over the summer and he is only allowed out for about two hrs every day, and WOW was I right. It is a huge cage especially for only one ferret. Neiko can run and jump and play around all day long. I have tons of toys and hammocks in there for him and most of the time he doesn't even want to come out when it's time to play in his room. He loves it!!!
I really enjoyed that it was so easy to put up and take down. I had no difficulties at all and you can honestly put it up in about two minutes.
I am so glad that I bought this cage and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy, big, and yet fun cage!!!"

"I purchased this for my Amazon several years ago. Bird cages are so expensive and really not large enough for our feathered friends to get exercise in much less & are too tiny for a lifetime habitat. This is a fabulous alternative and my bird absolutely loves it! Smaller birds could use it as a flight cage, easily! And at the savings, you can shower them with loads of toys and goodies! My parrot lost weight and built up his muscles with all the climbing he does - bowls for treats are scattered around the cage! He hates it when I have to move him to his large traditional bird cage when it is time to scrub down this one. Only problem is you need to make a seed skirt but with the money saved, it's a tiny inconvenience."

"I got this habitat for my one ferret. IT IS HUGE!! lucky(the ferret) loves it! you can probably fit 4 ferrets in here! putting it together is a little but chalenging by once its up you'll love it! i would seriously recomend this to anyone looking for a cage for thier ferret( or ferrets)! this cage hase many floors you can add and they are very stable. and its its ferret prof, lucky has been known to get out of ever thing nomatter if its "ferret proof" this he couldnot get out of and he got pretty frustrated haha but i love this prouduct! and im sure you owill too(ps sorry for missspelled words)"
