"The PetSafe Wireless Receiver Collar has been a lifesaver for us. Our adopted dog would run through the in-ground fencing and then come back whenever she felt like it. I had had enough! My son has the PetSafe system for his dogs, and it works wonderfully for them. I bought one and would recommend it to everyone."

Poorly designed clip.

"The clip on this collar is a poorly designed. I love the radio fence but my pug having a short jaw, and being a bit too smart, is able to get her lower jaw under the collar to undo the clip. The probes hold the collar away from her neck just far enough to make this possible and impossible to make it tighter so she can not.
They do not offer a collar with a metal clip, which would resolve this problem."

"A serious design flaw in the collar clasps makes it easy for a medium-sized dog to roll on the ground, and un-clasp the collar. My dog has escaped THREE TIMES now because the collar doesnt clasp permanently-- and I have followed all manufacturer's instructions exactly. Please don't trust this product to safely contain your precious pets."

"We could not afford to fence in our yard. WOW. A fraction of the cost with the same results. Our pets can play outside with little supervision. With summer right around the corner, this has to be the best thing I have purchased for my dogs."

"We have used this system now on our 3 dogs that range in size from 65lbs to 15lbs, a friend uses it on his 95lb Shepard mix.
I like the ability to take my dogs to my friends house, then syncronize the collar with his base unit and viola, dogs have fun.
We have taken the base unit camping and used a inverter to power it and the dogs get to enjoy the trip with out ropes and tie downs. My biggest complaint with the whole sytem is the batteries, they need to be re-chargeable."

"Less expensive than a fence but just as effective. My Pug now knows her boundries and won't go past even without the collar on. Our Pittbull/Boxer doesn't even get close to the boundry. A brilliant idea and I can take it with me and adjust it as needed for a different house. Well worth the cost to keep my babies safe. They can enjoy the yard now and we all have more freedom (from leashes)."

"We now have two collars for this system, becuase the first worked so well!
Our little escape artist was able to get out of collars and harnesses and, despite our efforts, she kept running out into the woods and getting hurt! After two surgeries (and almost losing her eye!), we gave in and bought her her own collar. Now when we put her out, she's still in our yard when we go out to get her... and, she hasn't been able to take it off!
I have to admit I was a little scared about putting it on such a little dog, but she's just fine. We've just used two different settings. Our Lab's collar is set on 5, and the Pug/Chihuahua is set to 2 (1 is sound only). The radio unit works equally well for them both!
(The pictures give you an idea of the size difference of the dogs. the collars are the same size (one's just shorter)."

"I never have to worry about Bruno or Diesel leaving the yard. We purchased the Wireless Fence in December for Bruno, who is 7 years old. He was notorious for running off if we didn't keep an eye on him. We got Diesel in January at 9 months old. They both trained very well at figuring out their boundaries. We plan to use the portable wireless fence at our weekend home this spring, summer and fall. It is such a relief to know the dogs are safe from cars!"

Spend your money on this. It's worth it!

"This keeped my dog on my own proporty. My nieghboor sometimes gets made because Sam (my dog) comes over to her yard and poops. One day after I got this my nieghboor came over and asked me if I had triand my dog. It was this that made him stay of her proporty. This is a great product. If you're going to spend your money on something for your dog spend it on this. It also helped me neighboors dog from running away."
