"We love this cat post, and it's mate "the sisal mania cat toy, exerciser," which is like a scratching slant board. We like them in beige, with hunter green stripes. Our cats love these. We are saddened to learn that you are discontinuing these items.
Please reconsider. We come to Petco, specifically for these two items, and spend money on other items when we visit. You will lose two customers if you discontinue these items!"

"This scratching post is absolutely TERRIBLE. I got it yesterday and first off it falls over as soon as the cat tries to use. Secondly all the rope is unwinding off the platform so much that there is no rope left. Remember I have just gotten this YESTERDAY. This might be good for a 3 week old kitten but definalty not a grown cat or even a bigger kitten. I would not buy this at all. I have to go back now and buy another one. EXTREAMLY EXTREAMLY annoyed and dissappointed. The ad should say for a new born kitten and thats it."

"I have to buy her a new one every year since the rope around it comes undone. I did not have this problem with the first one I bought. Maybe they are using a cheaper adhesive on this now IDK : ( good for new kittens i guess"

good for tiny kittens

"This post is too small for my kitties. Every time they scratch, they knock it over. It's not tall enough either. It would probably be good for a 2-3 month old kitten, but would soon be outgrown. It looks like it could be a good starter/trainer for a new kitten. I'm probably going to donate it to a shelter.
Would not recommend it for long-term use."

"My sister had one of these for her cat as well and we both experienced the same problem with it. Within a month of use, the string that had the ball attached to it broke off. Would not repurchase."

"My newly adopted cat loves it. I was worried she wouldn't use it, but she was scratching on it within 12 hours of me bringing it home. My only concern is that it may wear out a bit fast, but for the price it is a good product."

"The post keeps fall over the cat when the cat attempts to scratch. The ropes came apart after a few weeks. I would not recommend this product."

"I was very disappointed with this product. The sisal on the base came apart very easy. My cats pulled it off on the first night I gave it to them. I’m sorry to say that I will be returning this item."
