"Both of my shepherds love Kong. They carry them with them every where. They chew and chew and chew and i have not had to throw one away yet. I have had the same kong toys for three years and they are all still in perfect condition. I love these just as much as the dogs do cause they save our wallet."

"My Lab loves to chew on her chew toy! Once she outgrew her puppy Kong we decided to move up to the Extreme. She loves to chew on it and it helps keep her from chewing on other things in the house. Great product!"

"I purchased an XL extreme Kong for my 9 month old GSP and he was ripping chunks off of it within the first 30 minutes. The package states this size is appropriate for power chewers between 60 and 90 lbs and my pup is 75 lbs. Now, I wish I had gotten the XXL!!!
Even though my latest Kong purchase did not last very long, I still recommend Kong products. Our other dogs used the same red Kongs for over 4 years and they weren't damaged until the pointer got to them!"

"The largest size extreme kong (6 inches) is big and sturdy for my over 100 lbs. German Shepherd. I stuff it with lots of goodies and top it off with peanut butter to keep him entertained. It can take a lot of abuse and still hold up."

"I bought two Kongs for my pups. Gator especially loves his Kong. Carries it most places around the house and takes it into his crate at night and some days. He is so funny! I'll attach a picture of him as well with his kong. Sitting in MY recliner with his toy!
I would recommend this to anyone! Especially those with young puppies. :~P"

"I have 2 Beagles, both very stong chewers. The Extreme Kong they have not destroyed yet. It is the ONLY one they can't quite bite chunks off. I had tried a regular one before, but that didn't last at all."

"The Kong has been such a big help to me! My dog is known to chew through anything and has chewed and ruined so many of his toys. The Kong is the only toy he cannot chew apart. Now I don't have to keep buying him new toys for him just to break. It is also a big help because when I leave for work I don't need to worry about him destroying the house because I can hide a couple of dog treats in it and it occupies him for hours. I also love it because I don't have to worry about forgetting it outside because it can handle any kind of wheather. I have lost so many toys that way. I totally recommend this toy if your dog is like mine!!"

"we purchased the extreme kong a couple months back for our 10 month old english mastiff puppy and he is still chewing on it and 98% of it is still intact. now we have 2 english mastiff puppies chewing on the same extreme kong. is wonderful. i strongly recommend it to anyone that has a dog who loves to chew."

"I have a puggle who is a very strong chewer. I have searched for toys that she wouldn't be able to destroy. I have tried other KONG products and The Extreme KONG is the only toy that I have found that she has not been able to destroy. I also love that I can put things inside and make a game for her to try and get them out. Great product. Highly recommended!"

"The extreme Kong is meant for power chewers. Normally any toy given is gone within a day-the rubber bitten off or the stuffing tossed along the floor. The extreme kong however has stood its ground. This is by-far and outstanding product that has surpassed expectations. The regular kong did not last with our "Butters", but the Extreme Kong has only one dent in it. She can chew all she wants but it's definitely hard to break through."

"I have 2 Black Labrador Retrievers who love to chew, and I had purchased the Extreme Kong in hopes that it would occupy them for at least an hour. I filled the Kong with Peanut Butter, and they do enjoy that, but it only lasts about 30 minutes of licking enjoyment. Once they are done with obtaining the peanut butter, they do not find interest in the toy itself. The Kong lies on the floor until it has peanut butter in it again. The Kong came with a sample liver treat, but after about 2 weeks, it is still in there. I am not sure if they do not like the smell of the Kong or if it is another reason, but they do not seem to enjoy it that much. It is a good holder for 30 minutes of peanut butter licking time."

Kong XL kept our Power Chewers from going Rampant!

"I searched everywhere to find a toy that would keep the large breed dogs we have occupied for hours on end! I found a spectacular purchase when I discovered the Kong XL for Power chewers (Black). We just occasionally fill it full of treats and the dogs keep going back to them. Full of treats or not. I can hardly believe the benefit we are getting from getting these treats (Kong XL toys) for our dogs. We have a puppy (Golden Retriever female) and a three year old rather large Brittany Spaniel (red hunting dog-extremely overweight, powerful but loveable male). both dogs seem to go wild when they are shown the Black Kong Treats (chew toys - whatever they are actually called- we call them their Kongs- the dogs know what we mean) keeps them from chewing up things like shoes and blankets and things that they are NOT supposed to chew up (unhealthy things like small plastic knobs and odds and ends from the garbage that they tend to pry lose-no longer they go first to their Kongs then when they get bored they have forgotten all about whatever it was that they were going to chew on before, plus it says "with supervision", but trustingly I haven't found anything stronger or that needs less "supervision" than anything else out there on the market. I made the mistake of purchasing .99 cent tire toys for dogs with the rope attatched to them. gone in peices all over the floor. Talk about "Supervision required" These tire things didn't even state "supervision" anywhere on the toy or it's package. I watched the dogs tear into these Kong toys and I've tossed them only to have them bounce kind-of funny and almost break something, but never Never NEVER have they come back in tiniest peices or shards of shaved rubber like some toys on the market. I recommend these KONG TOYS for all dogs be they Power Chewers or not. They are great for excercising the dog's jaw as well! Like stated on the package. Thanks"

"We had a Rottweiler whom recently passed due to old age but he loved his KONG... Rotties love to chew and any toy we offered him was in tathers within a very short time.... Not the KONG.... It is very durable and we've had it for 5+ years... We now have another dog (puppy) whom loves to chew (Newfoundland / Poodle Mix) and I found the old KONG buried in the garage... Cleaned it up and the Newf loves it also... You can't go wrong with the durability of a KONG !!!"

"My Rot/Dob mix dog will go through the normal toy in a matter of min. His jaws are powerful, but the Kong has lasted...now... about 6 yrs... same one. He loves to have peanut butter put inside of it and on hot days I even will toss the peanut butter filled kong in the freezer... giving him a cold treat."

"My dogs would destroy other toys in a matter of minutes. The extreme kong is a toy that has really held up to my power chewers. They play with them for hours at a time whether they are empty or have treats in them. When I first brought the kongs home i had to take them away from the dogs to get them to eat dinner. I have and still would recommend this toy to anyone who has a dog. They come in all sizes and strengths depending on the size and breed of your dog. Kong has saved my shoes from becoming chew toys. Not only has the kong given them a strong toy to play with, it has taught them cordination and keeps their minds busy as well."

Love The Kong!

"I love the Kong as does my Lab. She is a power chewer and the Extreme Kong is great -- fill it with some "cookies" and she's a happy pup. Granted, she's probably done emptying it in 2 seconds, but it keeps her entertained for a little bit and she likes to chase it around the house. My lab knows it by name and will eagerly retrieve with with hopes of it being filled with treats."
