"As soon as I took it apart to clean, pieces started breaking off. My hamster has escaped twice already! And the wheel is SO ridiculously loud. I do NOT recommend this product at all!"

"I just got my Dwarf hamster (Sandy) yesterday and I picked this cage out for her. I think it is an amazing cage. She loves it! She likes the wheel the best. I have read other reveiws saying the wheel does'nt work. It does you just have to put it up a little bit higher then where it says to put it. I hoped that helped anyways I would recommend this for Dwarf hamsters only since it's more tiny then other cages."

"We have had this for less than a month, and the clips are broken, our hamster broke his wheel. It also falls apart easy and our hamster has already escaped! It is a piece of junk and a waste of money!! we hate it!!"

"I just got my first two dwarf hampsters and while they are great, I wish I had chosen a cage with an outside wheel that wasn't so noisy. Looking into extensions for this cage already. The pink is cute, but the wheel is noisy at night. Also, it comes apart easily when handling. Not sure how to compare it to others, but it could be better."

"I just bought a hamster and this cage for my granddaughter and we had a hard time putting it together. We could not get the top to fit correctly or tightly on the wire and the pink clips at top broke. Cage does not hold together well at all. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this cage a 1."

"This was my first cage I ever bought when I bought my first hamster. It was okay for a while but after my hamster became more comfortable she bit on the cage wires and broke the door. She now could open the door at will and escaped constantly. I then had to buy a new cage for her. I would not recomend this product because hamsters out smart it."

"Cage assembles well enough and the carry option on the petting station is a bonus. But, as far as I know there are no pink accessories and the front door can be opened by a Syrian Hamster. We use a bread tie to keep this from happening. Clean up is easy and since the wheel is inside the mess is negligible."

"This habitat is cute and I love how it is pink. My hamster seems to like it. I have a robovinski and in the beginning she was too small to climb up the tube or use the wheel. Once she has grown, she can now use them. I accidently dropped it once while I was cleaning it and it broke the top. (My fault :) ) Otherwise it is good."

"I wish I would have read these reviews before I bought my hamster this cage. I have only had her and this cage for about a month, maybe a little less. It took her about a week to open the front latch and escape. So I turned it around against the wall until I go to play with her. And just this morning she found a new way out by pushing on the plug next to the water bottle. I definately would NOT recommend this cage to anyone! It's such a pain!!"

"I am a firat time hampster owner and I love this cage rocket loves to sleep upstairs and it is so very easy to clean and i thought it was very easy to put back together the wheel did make a lot of noise but i just put some vegitable oil on the peg the wheel spins on and it made it alot quieter i also love that its pink to support breast cancer and i have had my cage for 3 months and he has never escaped i would recomend getting this cage it is awsome"

"i wouldnt even give this cage 1 paw . i have a teddy bear hamster and this cage first appealed to me because of size and the cute color ! but after about a month the wheel got so caked with feces (even after multiple cleanings) that it was to difficult to try and clean again and i just threw it out . also , the petting area is a waste . my hamster has escaped at least a dozen times from it . she managed to break the latch and it will no longer fully shut . its also a pain to take apart and put back together and the side bubbles pop off very easily ."

"It may not be the coolest cage but it's sure cute. I connected this to the crittertrail dazzle and my gerbils love it!!!! They love climbing up to the petting zone to sleep. If you have more than one pet then I recommend buying more than one crittertrail. The only thing I could complain about this cage would be the wheel it's very noisey."

"when i got Rosie my dwarf hamster it looked good but the next morning Rosie escaped. when i finally found her i noticed that she pushed up a side of the cage where the petting zoo was. if i were you i would put a rubber band over the latch attatching the two parts together. other than that it's a great cage."

"I got this cage for my daughter's hamster. The cleaning was easy because it is dishwasher safe but putting it back together was not easy. The clips never wanted to grap right. The hamster got out twice. I would not recommend this cage!"

"when I got this cage my gerbils were young they loved as their "starter home" it took them awhile to figure out the tubes but after a day or two they did just fine, it got kind of cramped as they grew, the addons work well(It would be hard to house two full grown gerbils without addons) but it would be great for a hamster. It is very easy to clean"
