Great perch

"Just a little hard to install without help, depending on the cage setup.
Da Bird thinks it's awesome, though!"

Fun perch
Date: February 12, 2008
"I really like this perch and so does Gizmo.
I buy the longest one available so it can be stretched from one side of the cage to the other.
I can change it into various curves and bends when he needs a change.

a must for all birds
Date: January 26, 2008
"I have a cockatiel who is housed in an absolutely enormous cage. I have a lot of perches, but I was afraid of overcrowding him, so improvised by making an extra long perch out of a couple of these perches. They work great, because they're extra bendy so I can shape them to go up or down, and he can get a great view of the entire room, while exercising his feet. I ended up installing a couple on the outside of the cage as well, so that he can come out of the cage into the room while I am not home and really enjoy himself. The only thing to watch for with these perches, is that after being used and washed multiple times, the rope can start to come apart, and they need to be thrown out right away, or the bird can get caught in the strings and really hurt themselves."

Great idea

"We bought one of these perches for each of our 5 pet birds. All our birds, from our budgie to our 2 parrots, absolutely love them! It helps give their feet a rest from standing on a hard perch."

great for all birds

"We have an older cockatiel with arthritic feet. The rope perches allow him to flex his feet unlike a more conventional dowel or rod perch. In fact he likes them so much that we now have them on the outside of his cage so he can move and explore more. He has a colorful rope "highway" from the top of his cage around the room. He is a very happy fellow now !"
