"I used to have a mat for the food feeder and water, but it made a real big mess! But ever since I bought this one it does not leave a big mess! It looks alot cleaner on the floor!"

"I have this mat and it's large enough to hold both my cats food bowls and water dish and my dogs food bowl and water dish. They eat on seperate sides of this mat and don't invade anyones comfort. My only problem is this mat gets dirty quick and you have to clean it daily because the food kibbles get stuck in the creases in this mat and water doesn't absorb."

JUST what I was looking for

"I had searched the local pet stores for a couple of weeks, trying to find a right size (i.e. not 10x's bigger than the bowls) waterproof, spill containing placemat to keep under my dogs' bowls. I had always had their bowls on the kitchen floor, but was constantly kicking them over when doing food prep (causing a huge mess), and I'd had enough and wanted to move them to a carpeted area. Although these mats are technically made to go under the Lebistro waterer/food thing...It works perfectly for 2 bowls. I use medium bowls (bigger than cat bowls, but smaller than big dog bowls), and the smaller mat size is perfect."
