"My 12lb Scottie, (small vest) swims around my husband while surf fishing with her VEST! Handle on top easy to get a hold on her. We also use when she rides on the wave runner. Fits great."

"Although my dog can swim, the life jacket helps keep his head totally above the water. This has made swimming more enjoyable for him.
The velco on this jacket is very secure and keeps the jacket in place while swimming.

"This is a nice jacket. Not to bulky. I ordered the xxs first and it was to small for my Yorkshire Terrier that is 5.8 lbs. It said it should fit under 6lbs and his girth was in that range but he was to long for it and i am afraid if he gains any weight it would be tight. It is already tight around the throat area. So I now ordered a xs to replace it."

"I just reviewed the polka dot jackets as I got two of those and three of these yellow ones for my five dachshunds. I warned in other review that they seem to be same product but different color this is NOT THE CASE. This one is much larger,bulkier and longer. I haven't tested this in water yet but hink it will work quite well for my doxie boys. The jackets are pretty long good for doxies and fit pretty well with some adjustment of the straps. If your dog doesn't do well with wearing things you may want to go with the polka dot one as it is much smaller and a lot less bulky.. I do not know about the camo or nautical patterns. One of my boys it is a bit big on.. be careful if your dog is less than maybe ten lbs and on the thin side maybe also go with one of others this may be too large. Good luck happy boating!"

"We have a 1 year old pug and a 18'x48' above ground pool, he learned how to climb up the ladder to get into the pool. So we decided to remove the ladder, well he showed us and jumped over the wall! We get tired of having to hold him and he loves the water! This life jacket is absolutely wonderful!! Very easy to put on and he does not mind wearing it, and we don't have to worry when he gets tired of swimming, he just floats around with his life jacket!!! He loves to swim, silly pug!! I would highly recommend this to anyone!!!"

"Because of this Doggy Life Jacket our little Dachshund, who was scared to death to get in our pool, is a swimming fool. He knows when I get me suit on it's time to get his life jacket on and go swimming. He gets all excited! I think he feels safer with this on. I know I do!"

"I'm very happy that I bought this life jacket. The price was decent, shipping was fine, and my dog actually likes to wear it because she knows she's going swimming sometime soon. It's comforting to know that she's at least a bit safer in the water. I'd definately recommend it."

"Love this product and so does my wiem Gemma. We do alot of boating and now no worries. I didn`t think she would really swim in it but she does!! Now when we get it out she gets so excited because she knows she`s going boating or swimming!!!! P.S. she looks great in it too!!!"

"We went boating on the river all summer and my chihuahua did not want to be anywhere near the water. But this ensured me that if he did accidentally fall in he would be safe. Plus it was really funny to see him try to walk around in a big bulky life jacket."

"My family and I do everything outdoors! From bike riding, playing tennis, hiking, roller blading, swimming, sailing and kayaking! Over the summer, we always felt downhearted leaving our bichon frise, Holly, home alone all day. Until we came across a lifejacket for her! She can swim if she had to, however, I fell so much more comfortable when she wears it! We now take her on all of our little day trips! She LOVES it! It has been a great convenience to us!"
