Great Clippers
Date: May 23, 2009
"I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about with this clipper. It worked great for me. I have Bearded Collie that lives in the country and after the winter she is just plain ratty and matty. These clippers were able to power through the mattes and gave me professional results. If you guys have never seen a bearded collies coat they are long an thick like human hair but with an undercoat. It took me a good hour and a half and as long as I kept the clippers oiled they worked great. I would definitely buy again."

GOOD FOR ME
Date: May 3, 2009
"I have a mini yorkie and his hair gets matted up when it gets long. we do comb him but for a lap dog he loves to be out side. So we decided to cut his down because everytime he came in the house, sticks and grass would be tangled in his hair. These clippers will work you just have to oil them and clean them before and after using."

Third time was NOT a charm
Date: August 5, 2008
"I researched before purchasing these clippers and Andis had great reviews. I have an 8 month old Shih Tzu that I groom once a month. The first time I used the clippers they worked great. A month later the clippers started to slow way down. I thought they may have gotten over-heated and would be okay once they cooled down. The third time I tried to use the clippers the blade would alternate from completely frozen to hardly moving back and forth.
That said, Petco was great about giving me an in-store credit for the purchase amount of the clippers. I am looking at the Wahl's clippers to replace the Andis.
