Great training toy

"I have used these with my Chesapeake Bay retrievers for years, and they are terrific. They are NOT tug toys, however. You'll be disappointed if you try and use them that way. But if you use them as exercise/retrieval devices, they are easily seen, relatively light to carry and make even the largest dogs look unintimidating to other people. I buy them by the pair, because they often end up high in the trees when I make errant throws."

Fabulous product

"These are the best toys ever. My dogs are crazy about them and I use them all the time for training. I've taken them to the beach, used them in the pool and in tracking fields from San Diego to Sacramento. just one of my dogs has earned 7 tracking titles all in the hopes af getting to play with one of these at the end:) I do not leave my dogs unatended with them as they will of course chew thru the cord if left un supervised but if used like a interactive training toy these hold up very well and build drive for my sport dogs. They also fit into my training vest pockets far better than traditional kong shaped toys. I highly recommend them. Many people in my area are using them now as they have seen how my Rottweilers are crazy about them.
My only complaint is that the medium sized ones are getting more and more difficult to find so I'm stocking up."

Great For Fetching

"This toy is not meant for tugging or chewing - it is a fetch toy. My Chocolate Lab absolutely loves it. I can throw it far because of the string, and the string has not yet popped off. It also works well in the water, since it can float."

Weak!!

"I bought this thinking since it was Kong that it would be extremely durable, however i was completely wrong. I had just brought it home and after about five minutes maybe less of playing fetch/tug with my 3 year old American Pitbull Terrier the end i was holding on to completely separated from the bottom half that Tyson was pulling on and we both pretty much went flying, very dissatisfied with this product and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!"
