My girl always has a constant slight pull on the leash. I've used a halter (bad idea and still chokes them), a head halter, which worked to some degree, but not only did it still choke her, but it irritated her face near her eyes, not good, it seems everything out there chokes them, this however does not choke them. And if she lunges at a rabbit it has a much larger effect on her than on me! I barely feel it but she gets bowled over and still doesn't choke.
There's only one problem with it, and it's really kind of important but I think can easily be fixed and that's that it chafes and irritates the armpits. It needs to have fuzzy stuff around it in the armpit area, if the silver belly strap was made out of a soft material you've got your perfect product there.

After just one walk our problem dog was back out for our evening walks. Before this harness she was like a wild animal pulling regardless of what we did. We have walked our dogs every night but this young dog thought she had to be out front, full speed ahead so we left her at home and took the other dogs. It was sad but she refused to change until this harness! . She now enjoys her walks and we can enjoy her outside again. Magic! Great buy!

These harnesses are great for curbing the pulling of stronger animals. They[re very long lasting too. We had a hard time finding more of them so we're very glad that Petco had them online. We actually put them on with the silver part on the dog's back only bc then as we face the dog one of the releases is up on the right and the harness comes off right over their heads.

This is the best harness there is - we love it and so do our dogs! We originally had a medium sized harness for our collie when he was still growing, however, now that he has reached his full size, it became too small so we ordered a large. We used the previous harness for 3 years, and it is still in great shape! It is very easy to put on the dog, and prevents them from pulling on the leash. Whenever my dogs see the harness come out, they get crazy excited because they know it's walk time!

I highly recommend this leash. Leash Trained my mastiff with this collar, other products failed.. He could then fit in a larger.. Now I need an X-large & you don't carry them. Why not?

At first, my 70-pound Doberman did not like the leash hook being on his chest, but he quickly adjusted after a couple walks and it has saved our trips outside.
He used to pull his collar so hard, and this harness keeps him from trying to drag me.

I was disappointed in this product. My dog still pulls. The harness loosens up and has to be readjusted every time it's used. It does nothing to stop his pulling and since he can reach the area where the leash is attached, he chews on it. I will not be buyng another harness while he grows to his full size.

I purchased 2 of these to make walking my dogs easier and to avoid the muzzle irritation caused by the over the nose gentle leader product I purchased previously. It was a great decision! This style doesn't cause the irritation and my dogs respond much better!

I was physically unable to walk our Great Dane prior to purchasing this harnesss. I trusted the reviews and am very pleased. I am able to walk at my own pace and she seems so proud not to have to be pulled by the collar anymore. This morning will be our third walk together.

I had to return them bc they didn't fit well. It sat right above the knees and kept falling down onto the knee and the dogs had a difficult time walking. I guess I should have tried a smaller size, but thought it might be too tight. Still looking for the perfect harness!

I have a Pitt bull that pulls so hard when walking it hurts me and her. With this harness the pulling stopped, walks are enjoyable. My 11 yr. old daughter can control her no problem.

When I got my very pull-y 7mo old husky mix this was s lifesaver after trying many different collars/harnesses. If your dog pulls or lunges this sets him a little off balance making it easier for you to control him.

This product is a life-saver! We have a 10-month-old lab/border collie mix who would not walk on a leash. We had tried all sorts of collars and harnesses and nothing worked. He would pull and "choke" himself silly and it practically wore me and my husband out just to walk him down the street. We wanted to take him camping with us this past weekend and knew that we had to do something or we'd all be miserable. After reading the reviews on this harness, we decided to give it a go, even though we hated to pay what we did not knowing if it would work (we paid $29.99 in store). We also purchased a 16-foot retractable leash as well (even though the harness doesn't recommend it). When we put this harness on, we have a totally differnt dog! He was a joy to walk, and we even took him on a 4-mile, 2 hour hike and never had a problem. It was awesome! It's impossible for him to pull with this harness. He stops and turns when we give a gentle tug, and he seems to enjoy it as much as we do. We haven't necessarily figured out the secret of this product, but I know it has made all the difference for our dog. It has definitely been well worth the money and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

My great dane gets very excited when going on walks or welcoming guests into our home, and the Gentle Leader Easy Walk Harness is a very effective way to keep her in line. It is also great for car rides, since we can tie the leash to a head rest and not worry about her slipping off the seat and choking if we have to stop suddenly.
