"I purchased Quiet Moments for my (hyper) dog for use when excitable events occur. I tried giving it to him on a full stomach, an empty stomach, it didn't work. He is a part Boxer, part red hound mix. I have found another product that works, so he IS abled to be calmed."

"Our dog is very afraid of thunder and gunstots.In fact she doedn't like heavy rain. Our Vet recomenended a perscrption drug which we felt was too strong. We tried Quiet Moments and found it better.And it lasts for 24 hour.."

"I have a Belgian Malinois and she gets anxious in the car, otherwise she's pretty mellow. I gave her this tablet but found that effectiveness was only slight."

"I have literally tried every product on the shelf from many different pet stores. My dog aussi/lab mix would wake me up during thunderstorms, 4th of July etc. She would crawl under my pillow, on top of my head anything she could to try and escape the noise. This product works wonders. I don't even have to give her the full dose. And when the noise starts.. she is more than happy to take them. And with the time release I get to sleep all night."

"My 6 yo Lhasa Apso developed separation anxiety after a summer of frequent thunderstorms. I had tried plug-in remedies, OTC's and even vet prescribed anxiolytics and antidepressants with either no effect or serious side effects. This is the only thing that works. Buster has a much better quality of life with Quiet Moments."

Really Works for Anxious Dogs

"I recommend this for pets who are anxious about grooming. (Owners give it to their dog.) I have seen it used on a Golden Retriever, a Poodle and a Wheaten Terrier. In all cases, the dogs were much more relaxed, didn't need to be muzzled and were able to get through the grooming process without undue stress. I highly recommend it."

"I tried these tablets for the first time when my 2 poodles and I were taking a two day car trip. I usually get tranqs from my vet, but they are VERY expensive and I didn't care for the way my dogs acted when they were drugged. These two very picky boys actually CHEWED them up and ate them without any additional incintive! No PB needed, unlike all of their other medications they have to take! Love this product and so do my boys!"

Dog won't eat this product

"I tried giving this product to our male Irish Jack Russell Terrier to calm him while his mate is in heat (we don't want puppies this cycle). Our normally omnivorous little fellow would not eat this even when I slathered it in peanut butter or wrapped it in salami (though he happlily ate the pb and meat) - each time spitting out the pill. Perhaps if it were in a capsule that I could drop down his throat. In any case, I can't recommend this in the current formulation."

He goes wild over the smallest distraction-squirrels, mail lady,etc. We started giving Quiet Moments just before a
10 day road trip vacation. What a difference! Everyone complimented us on our friendly,good natured dogs. This product doesn't make them"drugged"or depressed-just calmer. I think you need to give it to them a few days before a stressful event. We love Quiet Moments!"

"I gave this to my dog prior to fireworks and thunderstorms and was surprised that it worked as well as it did. Normally I give her Benadryl without much luck, but this product did calm her down significantly. Since her fear of loud noises is so severe, Quiet Moments didn't resolve the anxiety completely, but it did calm her down enough that she didn't hide under the bed or in the shower, or end up in a complete frenzy. I think in order for her to totally be calm during such events a heavy prescription tranquilizer would be our only option, but I feel better giving her a less potent option."

"My mini-Dachshund is terrified of thunder and rain. Everytime it begins to thunder, she shakes, pants, gets really hot, and if we are not at home, she pees and barks THE ENTIRE TIME. I never wanted to give her any pills for behavioral training, but it has gotten out of hand, and I decided to give it a try. I gave it to her a few hours before leaving work on a day that it was supposed to rain. I came home, and she was panting, and acting how she always does when it rains. Plus, to get her to eat a tablet, I had to put some peanut butter on it (and she eats everything she can). Very disappointing. Would not recommend to anyone."

"Quiet moments has helped our dogs to live a less stressful life. We have used quiet moments for everything from thunderstorms and car rides to baths and nail trimmings. We have an older retriever/setter mix that gets nervous around new dogs and quiet moments has helped with her aggression. Using quiet moments has made caring for our dogs much easier. We just give it to them and within 30 minutes it starts working."

"We adopted our dog last year from a local shelter. He was very skittish and hyper. When we get company, he goes ballistic...lots of barking and running. We gave Quiet Moments a try and it worked wonderful. He still barked at family when they came to visit but calmed down quickly and everyone could enjoy him. "what a wonderful product. I have two male boxers. the little one joey is 4 years old. and I dread the 4th of july...the load noise, fire-crackers . just send him off the deep end. Joey is the protector of the house, but when the 4th of July is well into full swing.....I pray for the holiday to end.
