"I was hesitant to shell out so much money for yet another comb or brush for my ever shedding long haired cats. Luckily my neighbor had one and I was able to borrow it for a test. It was so fantastic that I ordered three, one for my sister, one for a friend and one for my cats. The cats love it and it certainly does the job. And to top it off, Petco's online price was much lower than any other source I found!"

"LOVE this comb for the cats. I have 3 and they have had (are having) varied reactions to it.
Cammie (my oldest at 15) is a little tender skinned these days and will put up with it, but only if i talk to her sweetly and let her walk away when she's had enough (i finally learned after a couple of nips!)
Stanley (at 7, a middle child) LOVES the Furminator and reports for combing every time i go into the bedroom. He has a major combing out right at bedtime, and he just LOVES it. He can't get enough.
'Xander (about a year and a half) is still a little "animal" and won't sit long for anything before erupting into "play fighting" ... he's slowly coming along, though and its a good thing, cause he has a LOT of undercoat and I want to get at it!!"

"I have two cats - one short haired and the other long, fine, clingy hair. They both like the furminator better than any other slicker brush or comb I've ever used. And I like it because I find less cat hair to clean off floors, clothes, furniture, etc.
I bought one for my daughter who has a main coon cat who resembles Mufasa. He also likes the furnimator and willingly tolerates the lenghty time required to goom his long, thick cost."

"We have 2 cats, my mom has 4. Our cats are short hairs, my mom's cats are long haired kitties. I bought one for our cats, mostly on a whim and being VERY skeptical. IT WORKED SO WELL, I bought one to try on my mom's cats (Mom has arthritis, so grooming can be a challenge some days!) ... it was a breeze to use AND it was effective at removing TONS of undercoat hair. "This product is a great invention. It's ergonomically design is so easy to use, and comfortable on the wrists and arms. This deshedding tool allows me to comb away much more hair than when I use my other brushes. It's great as it helps in preventing hairballs and vomiting. The Furminator works well with our short-haired cat as well as our medium-haired cat. Seeing the amount of hair that is removed after each stroke of the deshedding tool is amazing!"

"Just got this today. Was hesitant because of the price. After reading all the reviews decided to take the leap. I am very very pleased. "I was a little skeptical about spending $40 on cat brush, especially being that my cats have short fur and I've tried just about every other brush out there on them. I just assumed they didn't have much fur to shed. Boy was I wrong! I couldn't believe the fur that just kept coming off! I swear I brushed off a full cat! My cats didn't seem to mind the brush too much and I feel better knowing they won't be ingesting all that fur. This product is well worth the money!"

"I have a male Burnese Cat....gorgeous short silk fur like a mink...i have always brushed him regularly. "Finally a product that does exactly what it claims. I brushed my Maine Coon outside and in a few short minutes, he'd lost about 1/3 of his bulk. He had been having problems with matting and now I can see why. I had been considering taking him to a groomer, but I decided to try this one last thing and now I'm thrilled that I don't have to put him through that. We are both thrilled!"

"I was a little scared to pay so much for this brush, but I am sure glad I did! I have two short haired cats and I didn't think it would work as well on them as opposed to someone with a long haired cat.. I was wrong. I am amazed by how much hair this thing grabs! It makes me glad to know that all that fuzz is on the brush and not in my kittens' stomachs. Definitely worth the price tag."

"I have 3 long haired cats in my house and have always used a regular brush on them, but still had hair everywhere! I saw this advertised one night on tv and went looking for it. I didn't buy it at first because of the price, but I went back time and time again every time I was at the store to look at it. My husband finally told me just to buy the dang thing. And I can't believe how much fur I had been missing all those years! They just LOVE to be brushed now!! All that excess fur just comes right off! I love it! If anyone out there has long hair cats you know all about the shedding, the hair mats, and hair balls. This really works! Try it - you will never use another brush again!"
