"The FURminator deShedding Tool is excellent. I have both the large for the Golden Retriever and the small for the cats (short to medium hair). It is the best thing I've found to groom the pets and help control shedding. Highest recommendation."

"I was skeptical of the FURminator being worth the quite steep price tag, even when I picked it up on sale. But it definitely lives up to the hype. It's by far the best brush I've used and does its job very well. Now if only I could get my cats to ENJOY being brushed, I'd be in business!"

"My husband and I have severe allergies, we have sinced moved into a heavily wooded area and it had become unbareable. We have 3 cats (our children would never give them away even if we sneezed all day everyday). We bought the Furminator and it does wonders. I expected a lot of hair on two of my cats, but the little short hair cat Zannie produced hair I didn't know it was there. This product is soooooo worth it!!"

"I thought the furminator would be a lot more effective than it actually is. My cat gets mats easily and he hates being brushed. I actually trim his body to make him more comfortable, but his ruff is always long (it's so pretty). It usually has at least one little mat. I brush him and the next day there is another one. He is not the most fastidious cat, so I really have to help him groom every day. I wish the furminator made things a bit easier. It does get out some fur, but it isnt as easy as it portrays itself to be. I guess I can't expect miracles!"

"The FURMINATOR is aweswome!!! The first time I used it my carpet was full of fur! There was enough fur to make another cat! You wont believe how much fur comes of your pet. It leaves my cats with a softer, shinier coat. The pictures on the packaging are REAL. I'm a believer. It is expensive compared to other combs and brushes but it worth every penny! If you have pets YOU NEED THIS PRODUCT!"

"I am a skeptic when it comes to products that have great reviews. I recently acquired a gorgeous cat who is white and caramel color and he sheds like you wouldn't believe. I watched the video's of the furminator in action and thought "it looks good but wait till I buy it and it probably won't work". I went to Petco and paid $43.99 (ouch! but I love my cat) and got it home and tried it out. This tool is unbelieveable. You could not believe the amount of hair that came off in 2 strokes of this thing and my cat loved every minute of it. It is well worth the money (honestly I would have paid $100 for it if I had to). If you have cats, get this tool. You would be glad you did. I am not so sceptical as I was. Furminator you are the best!!!"

Well, It's by far the best thing I've purchased for my cat in awhile. She not only falls into Heaven when I start brushing her. She seems more playful and less hairballs end up on my clothes.
I can bring out the black clothes once again.
I would pay 99.99 for this, so at 34.99 It's a STEAL...
I already reordered more for my neighbors and family...
Oh and My cat is Soooo soft afterwords.

"I held off on buying this for the longest time. $40? Eeekkk!!!
However, when I get this out of my drawer, my cats line up to be FURminated! They love it!
Even my smallest cat, Shadow, comes over to be brushed. Her fur is so short and fine. I said, "Shadow sweetie, I'm not going to get anything off you." WRONG!
I have notived fewer hairballs and less fur on the furniture. We (heart) FURminator!"

"I used different tools over the years and nothing can compare to the FURminator. Seriously...you can clone a cat with it. I'm not kidding. If you haven't been brushing your cat as much as you should, when you use this the ball of excess hair may be as big as your cat! I haven't met a cat yet that doesn't like this. Even my own cats love it, and for years they were difficult to groom. But of course, they still hate water. Solution for that...FURminator waterless cat shampoo."

"This is the best tool, I have taken off enough fur to make another cat. My cat is a short hair with a thick undercoat, and its taken so much out, and the best part, she likes it!! "Like some of the other reviewers here, I had my doubts about this product at first. My curiousity got the better of me and I finally decided to buy one. I can't rave enough about the FURminator. The cat actually sits still long enough for me to be able to comb through her coat. She purrs the entire time. A sizeable ball of fur came off her the first time I combed her. We were SO impressed, we bought a FURminator for the dog as well.
Yes, it's pricey, but this has been the only tool that has been effective in deshedding our wonderful pets. Highly recommended!"

"I can finally pet my longhair cat without a ton of fluff flying in to the air around her!
Although she loves her old brush, her happiness with this early Xmas gift was apparent by her desire to be continually brushed (we got it yesterday). It was obvious by her pleasure and the massive amounts of white undercoat hair the brush was getting off of her skin that this product was providing the kitty with relief from itchy loose hair on her skin.
Her coat is already much softer and smoother with fewer loose hairs coming off of her on a regular basis. I'm so excited to see the results over the next couple of months as we get to brush her more. Hopefully this will replace the lint roller as our most necessary cat accessory!
I also tried this on my shorthair to see her reaction since she hates the regular brush. This went over pretty well with her, but as expected (since she barely sheds), hardly got any hair off of her.
If you have a medium or longhair cat, this product is an absolute necessity. I don't know how we've gone so long without it! I bought it because it was on sale, but I would definitely say it's worth it even if you have to pay full price."

"I just have to say that this Furminater is the best comb/brush that I have ever used. I had another comb that the cats would run when I took it out. I combed my 2 cats the other night and could not beleive how much hair was coming off of them. They just sat there and enjoyed. I don't think they will be running from me anymore. "This product really works, I have multiple cats and this has eliminated so much fur on my carpet, my clothes and in my cat's tummies. They seem to be having less hairballs, but they also eat high quality food, this just seems to help keep the fur out of their systems just to begin with.
It's easy to use with a nice grip on it. Definitely eliminates a ton of cat fur. My cats don't seem to be too bothered by it, though I find I have to be a gentle with it sometimes it can pull a little too hard.
Easy to use, works well and definetely good quality."
