This is one of the best media I have used in my filters. The material is very porous which is great for bacteria growth. Some other brands are cheaper but they are usually smooth and dont have the same quality as these.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have 2 levels of this in my fluval 305 and it has lots of bacteria on it. my tank is very clean with this.
