Excellent for allergy ridden dogs Date: May 24, 2008
"My dog simply loves this dog food. I started buying it for my Smokey because I found out he was allergic to almost
everything. A vet recommended it to me and for just two years now my dog just loves it. He no longer has constant pink irritated paws and loves the taste, I can tell because he almost inhales it every day. I would highly recommend it to everyone."

Trust Dr. Weil Date: November 28, 2007
"Andrew Weil is respected for his reliability, lack of hype, PBS specials, best-selling books, and, oh yeah, that beard. He is an innovative educator (Univ of Arizona, Chair of Department of Integrated Medicine) and personally helped formulate this pet food line. Weil vouches for its purity and healthful formula; that's good enough for me. Pricey, but truly worth the extra money -- you'll save it down the road in vet bills."

Expensive... but worth it! Date: July 9, 2007
"Our dog has a mix of canned and dry food. He's always had Pedigree (since before we adopted him). He's also always had digestive problems (I'll just say "loose" and leave it at that) and been prone to scratching (probably some kind of allergic reaction).

We recently switched him to Pet Promise (still a mix of canned and dry). He loves it! The first time he tried it, he did a little double-take and looked up at me, as if to say, "I don't know what I did to deserve *this*, but thank you!!"

During the transition period (we gave him a little of the old and new foods, so he could take to it gradually), even though he prefers the cans to the dry and even though the dry food was the lower-calorie "Weight Maintenance" formula, he started eating the dry before he even started on the Pedigree canned stuff.

Not only is he much happier with it, but his digestive problems have noticeably improved, and I think he's scratching less.

We both highly recommend Pet Promise food. It may be twice as expensive as the Pedigree, but he's happier and healthier. Who can put a price on that?"
