Excellent product!
Date: August 7, 2008
"My 16 year old toy rat terrier is one of the pickiest eaters and she loves this food! If she knew how good it was for her she'd probably stop eating it! ha I like the fact that it doesn't have animal bi-products in it and it has vitamins and veggies!"

Great quality pet food
Date: July 22, 2008
"My dalmation's always been a fast eater, but when i put this food down for the first time, i've never seen him go so crazy! He must have licked the bowl for 5 minutes after he devoured it all. True testament to good food. I serve pet promise to my kitties too and they love it equally as much. Best quality food i've seen out there and they carry it in our local health food store which makes picking it up convenient."

my dogs love it
Date: February 14, 2008
"I must say that I was a little unsure at first on if my dogs (I have 3... small- Westie, medium- collie mix and large- lab, mastiff mix) would eat it. I always thought I was feeding my dogs good food but after the latest scare we had on tainted pet food where hundreds of animals died I began to really look closer at the food (they eat part canned and part dry) I was giving them. The pickiest dog I have is my Westie. Turns up his nose at practically everything. The other two dogs will eat anything. I used to feed my Westie very expensive wet dog food but didn't like what I'd see in his food...(I'm assuming other animal parts by the looks of them). And this was from very expensive food, especially since each one didn't have very many ounces and he would eat about 4-5 a day (throughout the day, not in one sitting). Anyway, after I really got to looking at the ingrediance I stopped feeding it to him. Then I saw Pet Promise at our local healthfood stores and tried it. And it only took 1 day for my Westie to start eating it. I have never seen any weird look stuff in the food like with the other dog food and since feeding all the dogs the Pet Promise they seem to be more peppier and full of energy. I am very happy with the product and my dogs seem to be also. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants the very best for their dogs."

Good Investment

"I purchased Pet Promise canned dog food because I wanted to give my dogs the most natural and healthiest food possible. I feel that Pet Promise fullfills this requirement. However, it has taken my dogs a while to adjust to this new food. They did not want to touch it at first and I had to mix it with the other food. Now, they waiver back and forth. Still, I am happy to know that I am giving my dogs safe, healthy food."

Update
Date: July 18, 2007
"(Won't let me edit, so I have to post a new one.)
Our dog still loves the Chicken and Beef flavors. He'll even come over to eat them while the nearby sink is running - something I've never seen before.
Unfortunately, as much as he loves those flavors, he HATES the Bison. He'd rather go hungry than eat that.
Your dog's tastes may vary, but be careful when introducing such an unusual flavor."

Expensive... but worth it!
Date: July 9, 2007
"Our dog has a mix of canned and dry food. He's always had Pedigree (since before we adopted him). He's also always had digestive problems (I'll just say "loose" and leave it at that) and been prone to scratching (probably some kind of allergic reaction).
We recently switched him to Pet Promise (still a mix of canned and dry). He loves it! The first time he tried it, he did a little double-take and looked up at me, as if to say, "I don't know what I did to deserve *this*, but thank you!!"
During the transition period (we gave him a little of the old and new foods, so he could take to it gradually), he licked the bowl clean of the Pet Promise canned food before even touching anything else. With the change in food, he's also started showing up at his bowl as soon as he hears the can instead of having to be called over to come eat.
Not only is he much happier with it, but his digestive problems have noticeably improved, and I think he's scratching less.
We both highly recommend Pet Promise food. It may be twice as expensive as the Pedigree, but he's happier and healthier. Who can put a price on that?"

look at the contents...

"what is potato protein?.....and 78% moisture, come on where's the beef. Would you buy a piece of beef that had 78% moisture? There are much better 'natural' products out there for you dog and your cat. My dog eat it....but wasn't happy about it. Don't forget cats and dog are carnivores and need lots of protein and carbohydrates are best if they come from fiber. This product isn't a promised kept. Pass it up, it's just not human grade."
