WORST GATE EVER
Date: October 31, 2009
"This gate is very difficult and frustrating to set up and/or move. The things on the side that "unscrew" to tighten the gate against the walls most often don't work. They just spin & spin both ways without moving. An added bonus is that it takes the paint off the walls when you take it down. That was nice. I would NOT recommend buying this gate. It's beautiful, but that's it. Not worth the frustration."

Almost Perfect!
Date: October 30, 2009
"I like this gate because it is adjustable and low enough to easily step over. The only thing I hate about it is that the bumpers that protect and grip the walls will rip off your paint and drywall because it sticks! It's ruined the walls at my house and at my parent's. Now I have to repair the paint, walls and that will cost more than the $30 I paid for this gate."

Gateway to peace of mind
Date: October 22, 2009
"I bought two of these gates to protect the formal area from our little dog. They are well-made, easy to use, and the finish blends well with most decors. The sizer-knobs on the sides do not mar the wall paint. The door in the gate works very well, and even our big door can get through it just fine. This is my first experience with such an item, and I will recommend it to friends."

Pet Gate

"Love it. We finally found a gate we could step over without tripping. Great price, free shipping, could not ask for more. The cats jump over and the dog looks thru."

Great Gates
Date: September 19, 2009
"These are awesome gates if you have a little dog you want to keep contained. They are easy to step over and easy to install. When I want my puppy to have free roam of the house I just open the door and he can go in and out as he pleases. I definitely recommend these gates!"

Great gate!
Date: September 12, 2009
"We bought two gates to keep our new puppy out of the formal living and bedrooms areas - they work great! Only took five minutes to install, sturdy construction, no rough or splintered edges, easy to step over and the hinged door is super for when you want your puppy to have access. I would definitely recommend these gates for small pets - we are completely pleased with our purchase."

Best Ever - I got 3
Date: September 2, 2009
"If you have a small dog this gate is great, small enough for an adult to step over but daunting for a small dog to jump (although my cat easily jumps it). I really love it. I started buying one and then liked it so much bought two more."

uneven walls
Date: April 8, 2009
"This gate has a great price x quality relation. We were able to stick it in between 2 doors that are not in a straight line, and due to its adjustable "pressure" points, we were able to isolate our dog from the living room without making hole to those walls. It's good for VERY small dogs, our lhasa apso will probably jump above it soon."

Don't be alarmed!
Date: March 25, 2009
"Please don't decide not to buy this gate because of the reviews complaining about the bumpers not screwing in or the holes not being the right size for the bumpers. The bumpers are not SUPPOSED to screw in.
The bumper is a nut and bolt assembly. The bolt has a flat head that touches the wall or door frame. The nut is the round part you see in the picture, and has ridging to make it easier to turn. Where the nut is sitting on the bolt determines the tension, not where the whole assembly is on the wooden frame. The round part always touches the wooden frame, and the flat part always touches the wall. The distance between the two can be from nothing to a few inches, based on how far you turn the nut.
True, there are no instructions in the package. However, as someone who is happily using 3 of these gates with a 60 pound dog as well as a 12 pound dog, I felt that I should clear the record here. The "issues" that some people have pointed out are due to not knowing how to use the product properly."

Very convenient product!!!
Date: February 25, 2009
"I just bought this fence and installed two last night to keep my 10 week old terrier in the living room. It's a great height for us. I wanted something that could easily be stepped over by us without needing to be reinstalled everytime we walked out of the room, especially when you're only five feet and with a four foot 8 year old.
I was frustrated in the beginning with the side screws but then realized that there are two screws in one. Before you put them into the holes, loosen the screw in the middle from the one around it (i'm not sure what these are technically called). Once you're ready to set up adjust the screw on the outside for all four to make it as tight as possible for your wall. My only wish is that it came with instructions to tell you this."

could be much better
Date: February 23, 2009
"Gate is a great height for small dogs and is easy for children to safely step over. Design could be greatly improved if the four rubber feet were adjustable with a screw. The rubber feet just slide in so as to not allow for the best and tightest fit to the walls. Good enough for a temporary solution. We used felt chair pads to make up the extra space between the feet and the wall."

Great gate!

"This gate is very sturdy. Just great for small dogs. My smallest dog climbed right over it but if you don't have climbers it works well. Perfect for keeping the little ones out of the wrong places."

Wonderful Gate
Date: October 25, 2008
"Excellent gate for smaller animals or if you have larger ones that dont jump and just need a reminder to keep out. Flexible length and great to step over. Sturdy and good looks. I use one at the cat litter door and another in the kitchen."
