"After battling a perianal fistula in one of my GSDs with medication for over a year, a vet at LSU suggested the problem might be caused by food allergies. We were feeding Eukanuba so we switched to a high dollar vet diet and found out she is allergic to chicken, corn & eggs. Blue Buffalo Lamb & Wild Rice is a much more affordable alternative to the $70/bag vet diet and I can get it locally at Petco. Guess what? No more fistula!! I've put all my dogs AND my cats on Blue Buffalo and they're all healthy & happy now. And they LOVE the taste! Even my picky Great Pyr gobbles it up!"

"Switched to Blue Buffalo several weeks ago following my research of the best products to feed my family of dogs. Old Schnauzer, middle aged Corgi and young Kerry Blue Terrier. The Corgi and Schnauzer will eat virually anything. The Kerry Blue is a different story. Not any more! They all eat Blue Buffalo and love it. I can not tell you how thankful I am to have found a healthy product for my family of dogs. All the difference in the world on how they look and feel. It's Blue for me from now on!"

"My chow mix eats next to nothing. a vet friend of mine told me to stop buying grocery store dog food and get something premium. I remember reading something about blue buffalo so I bought it. It aint cheap, thats for sure but man oh man what a difference. I use the fish and rice formula and he practically eats the metal bowl when its done. I've since done some research and like everything about this company. Good luck"

"You can't go wrong here. Top quality, superior nutition. No corn, wheat, soy, artificial colors or petroleum-based preservatives. Especially beneficial for dogs with allergies. Symptoms include frequent ear infections, smelly ears, excessive licking of the paws and legs, hot spots, bald patches, excessive shedding and frequent passing of gas. Try it for a month. The fish and potatoe flavor is excellent too. My motto: feed healty and save on vet bills."

Great for picky eaters

"My beagle Lily has to be one of the pickiest dogs around! She usually will go to her food bowl, sniff it, then wak away and not touch it for a day or so till she is starving and has to have something. So I got Blue Buffalo and she now runs up to her food bowl as I'm pouring it and digs in! I can even use the food bits as rewards for training and such! I'm hoping after a few more weeks, her skin and allergies will dissapate, as well, but she's only been on it for about a week."

"I think this food is excellent. No corn or wheat, and high quality ingrediants. My crazy dog picks out all the life bits, sets them aside, eats the regular food, and then eats the life bits last. But she seems to love it!"

"I bought this after reading reviews and because my boxer is allergic to most all dog foods and finally we have found a winner. First of all, she loves the food and second, her allergies have gone away completely! No more chewing her paws and scratching her face; no more pink face and paws! I just wish my local Petco carried it in stock so I wouldn't have to pay so much to buy this stuff online (the shipping)."

"I was looking for a good quality dog food and came upon Blue Buffalo I was impressed with the ingredients so I brought it home and my yorkies loved it !! not only did they love it but I noticed that after a month my dogs skin dandruff cleared up and they seem to have more energy . Blue is worth the money

"I love to feed my dog Blue because of the wholesome ingredients it contains. From the first ingredient on the list to the last there are no fillers in this food. Compared to the grocery store "premium foods" Blue blows the competition away. My dog has enjoyed all of the Blue flavors he has tried and it's something I feel good about giving him."

"2 of the 3 of my dogs have had problems with allergies, but since switching from what I thought was a good food (it's in the same price range as this) to Blue Buffalo we've had zero hot spots and zero scratching. I have a bichon frise who has been plagued his whole life by allergic issues and he's been great since the switch! At first my dogs didn't seem to like the "life bits" and I would find them in a pile beside their bowl, but they have since started eating them and are probably healthier for it!"

"***First and foremost, i HIGHLY recommend SALMON OIL as a food additive everyday. Gets rid of dry skin flakes in 3 weeks and keeps them away.
This food is the closest you can get to the all-natural dry kibble diet. The first two ingriedients are lamb and lamb meal. NOT CORN and gluten and flour! The rest of the food is wholesome veggies and brown rice. I got this food because my french bulldog puppy was rubbing his face on the carpet and scratching everywhere, probably due to the cheap food he was on before we got him. --Shiny coat and flake-free and itch free now! --It's expensive, but you feed less, so it evens out. The kibble is medium sized, fat triangle shapes with baby pea-sized dark brown kibbles."
