"I've had the 50 watt for my 10 gallon tank for just over a month and it was keeping it at a perfect 80 and I was really happy... but now it keeps fluctuating the temperature between 12 degrees over the course of a few hours and that is not good for my fish. I'm going to return this one and buy the same model again. I liked it, the one I have just doesn't want to work well right now."

"I have two of the 200 watt heaters in a 125 gal tank. They are great, have never had a problem yet, knock on wood. Keeps it right at 80 degrees even in the michigan winter. Gets my vote."

"i have owned the 50 watt heater since febuary and it has never let the temp get lower than my preset of 78 degrees its a great heater and i would recommend it to everyone looking for a good quality heater"

"I am setting up a saltwater tank for the first time. All is going well except this heater. I followed the instructions, assumed it was working but discovered today it was cold!!
So I am cycling cold water at the moment until I can return this thing and buy a more reliable product. Glad I don't have fish yet!"

"I have had this heater appoximately 3 months, in a 29 gallon tank. It keeps the water at my desired 78ºF all the time. No complaints here.."

"I have a small 50watt heater in a ten gal tank. Hasn't broke yet. It states in the instructions to turn it off when changing the water, maybe this was the previous reviewer's problem."

"I had one for my 29 gallon, it works well in the first week then when you change your water it breaks right away pretty useless for a high price do not buy WARNING NOT GOOD"
