"I bought the strawberry for my Syrian hamster, Chester. He LOVES it! he even made a cozy nest inside! :-) it is very easy to clean. and it is very big on the inside, but doesn't take up much space in the cage. it fits nicely into a corner. Chester and I both love it!"

"well basically my gerbil loves this strawberry hideout! she uses it to sleep in mostly but i have noticed that she also moves her food from her food dish into there. this is my first gerbil & i was kinda skeptical to buy this for her but i decided on it & im very happy with my purchase!"

"A few years ago i adopted a hamster from my brother's friend. Peanut loved the strawberry, and I will admit it is adorable, but I was never able to get it as clean as I would have liked. When Peanut died I decided it was best buried with her."

"1st of all, this strawberry is ADORABLE! 2nd of all, it is on the smaller side, and doesn't take up much room AT ALL. 3rd of all, HAMMIES LOVEEEEE IT!
The hamster in our classroom loves his little strawberry. It is perfect size. My 1 and ONLY complaint is that there was a little hole in the corner. But otherwise I am strongly suggesting that you buy this."

"When I first got the strawberry for Bella and Edward my two black bear hamsters the looked at it and walked away. Then after a while they started kissing each other and now they always sleep in it. I would definitly recommend this product to a friend."

"My gerbils absolutely LOVE the strawberry! They line it with Kleenex then make a little Kleenex tunnel coming from the entrance. I've not had any chewing issues with it yet. It's so cute to see them curled up inside, asleep and warm."

"Right after I placed it into Bijou's cage, he climbed right in! He absolutely loves his new hiding spot and stores his food in there. He sleeps in there all day and he looks so cute in it! I got the strawberry one because I couldn't find any other fruits from our local store and it matched Bijou's red cage. You can see how much he loves his strawberry in my picture :)"

"These hideaways are great for hamsters, gerbils, mice, and other smaller small animals! I got the orange because it has a better shape and looks better than the strawberry. As soon as I put it in my hamster's MINI cage he ran through his tubes and jumped in it! I think we both like it a lot."

"i love this strawberry!! it looks so cute in their tank and they love it too!!! i have two female gerbils, and they sleep in this strawberry every night! they chewed the stem a little bit, but it is pretty durable and roomy enough for two full grown gerbils :o)"

"I bought the orange for monster[my robo] and he didnt seem to like it. I put some bedding in and 10 minutes later he was all cozy and cute in the back. The only bad side is monster made a wall of bedding over the front. I got the orange because it reminds me of the sweet taste of orange juice and the strawberry was ugly to me. It looks like a mushy strawberry!!!!! I would reccomend the orange."

"These little fruit hideouts are the cutest thing ever, I just HAD to buy the strawberry. However, my Syrian hamster had zero interest in it. I don't think she ever even went in, even with food inside to tempt her. Perhaps it wasn't big enough for her liking, or it didn't suit her fancy, but I was quite dissapointed when she didn't use it and returned it in the end. I feel these are probably better suited for dwarf hamsters.
One thing I noticed is that the plastic inside really has a strong "plastic-y" smell. Even after I washed mine out 3 times, with citrus soap none-the-less, it still smelled! I was a bit worried of her inhaling the plastic fumes if she decided to sleep in there.
Adorable product, and very well made, but it just didn't work for my little one."
