not worth the price

I bought these clips for my new little budgie. He was a little scared of it at first. It held exactly one millet for about five minutes. Then the millet broke in two.
The clip is VERY hard to use in Luther's cage. I am now once again looking for the one i have in my other bird cage. It has a squeeze mechanism on the outside pf the cage, so I can easily hang the millet. My other two birds love it, and love their millet. The will soon be all in the same (big) cage, but i still want another millet5 clip like the first one i got. Don't buy this one.

These clips have such a wide opening in them that they won't hold a normal size millet spray. It falls right through or as soon as my finches try to get some millet off the spray it falls out of the holder and onto the bottom of the cage. I bought them because they were cheap, and BOY THEY SURE ARE!!! Don't waste your money! Get the good spring loaded metal ones!

Needs to loosen up a little!

I bought these for my budgies and cockatiels, and though I had no problem setting it up in their cages (both horizontal and vertical bars), they did not do the job when I attempted to clip their usual assortment of leafy greens.
I did not want the clips to go to waste, so I found an alternative means to make them work. Since the clamps are difficult to pry apart without some effort (think oyster shell), the treats need to be bunched together. You might find it better to stuff whatever treats in the center opening. It'd also be fine for spray millet or anything that is bulky enough to take up that space. Otherwise, it'll just take up unnecessary space and would be no better than using a small dish.

Tried to use on our cockatiel's cage but they would not fit; same result on our conure's cage. Even tried on a very small cage--no luck there!

These are the cheapest treat holders scence sliced bread! I love the price! It's only good for millet and cuttlebones, I hardly could get the clip to the middle of it, (the cuttlebone). So ONLY for cuttlebones and millet. But other than that, a GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!!!
