Attractive, Sturdy Pet Gate

"Of all the pet gates available out there, I think this one is the most attractive looking. The gate is sturdy once up and serves its purpose.
The only thing that was a bit frustrating was getting the slats on the sides to be spaced evenly. You have to adjust the whole thing somtimes in order to adjust just one of the side bars.
Overall, a nice product worth the price."

"Complete waste of money. It arrived with the handle broken and a frame that isn't straight, so it would be impossible to latch even if the handle weren't broken.
It's going right back to the store.
Save your money!"

"This is a quality gate. Easy to install too. My big Weimaraner can jump over it though; I suspected he might be able to when I bought it. It still keeps the dogs out of the kitchen while I cook so that's good. If you're looking for a solid, attractive gate and you have a small to medium size dog, then I highly recommend this gate."

"We have the gate on our bedroom door. It is so secure and easier than the old gate that would slide down and make a lot of noise. I can open it with just one hand when I am carrying things. It has been worth every penny already!"

Good for non-chewers

"I have a 2 year old boxer and a 6 month old pomeranian. My boxer got over her chewing stage so there wasn't a problem with her but with my pomeranian puppy, she was able to completely chew through the inside wooden "spokes". She was only able to fit through the gate after chewing through the spokes (she's a small dog). Before my puppy chewed it up, the gate was very nice-looking and I received compliments on it from guests who come over the house since it fits nicely with the decor of my house. I'm not giving a bad review on this gate, and I am considering getting a new one or replacement spokes, but next time I will need to put some type of anti-chewing spray on it to prevent my puppy from chewing it up."

"This gate is nopt at all what I expected. the framework is welded stele construction with a wooden gate. the installation was a snap and the gate works flawlessly. This is an outstanding product!"

Great Golden Proof Gate!

"We have 5 golden retrievers and these gates hold up when all the dogs jump up on them to greet us. The wooden/mesh gates would just fall over, and the mesh would disappear...chewed right through. Also, we were tired of always climbing over them. The Richell gate is attractive and has withstood 3 months of use without a hitch. The dogs do not try to climb over them because of the vertical bars and the height. They can climb over gates/fences that have a place for their feet (like chain-link fencing). I love this product!"

"this is a great pet gate/ barrier. we use ours to block the stairwell. it is very sturdy. and is 1 touch open as advertised. it has survived all the crashing, and jumping over it teenagers do(14,15 yr old). it attaches securely to the wall, and has never left a mark, even after putting it back up numerous times."

"We love this gate and have bought several for all of our outside doors. It's so wonderful that someone has made a pet gate that looks nice like furniture and not just a cheap, temporary, baby thing. I have such peace of mind now answering our doors without worry of the puppies rushing out. The top of the gate even has enough room to attach some lovely brass plaques we had made. People often ask us where they can buy these gates as they are so taken with them."
