Disappointing

"When I first purchased this tank I was extremely excited. I liked the look of it, and thought it would be a great home for my betta fish. I purchased three of these tanks, and sad to say they were a waste of a money. Yes, they do look very good on the box and even when you put them together. The problem however is that the pumps stopped worked and no water was flowing through the filter. :( I contacted the Tetra company and explained to them the problem. They kindly sent me two more pumps and motors for the tanks that were having issues. Well, then the third went out. And sure enough, the two new motors they sent stopped working. I have contacted the company once more to explain to them my true disappointment in the product and how I feel it was a waste of my money. I have replaced the two tanks and soon to be third with a Top Fin aquarium which has had no problem. Had I known then what I know now, I would have purchased the Top Fin aquarium before and saved a good $70-$80 dollars. Unfortunately, no more Tetra products for me."

"the tank size is good for one small goldfish or betta but not good for multiple fish! also the filter doesnt work almost at all! i would not recomend this tank."

Great for Betta

"The tank is small and great for one betta! The tank is easily moved from one room to the next throughout the house. Once a day feeding and once a month water change when my eight year old son thinks of it has kept his betta alive for two years. The light is just enough for a night light and the front drawer holds a small jar of betta food and a spare filter. We never change the water and the filter at the same time. What a great first time aquarium for a kid!"

Good Starter Aq

"I've had mine for 3 months and it works well. I especially like the adjustable light. I accidentally put the cover on my chair and sat on it one day. The cover cracked a little and I still use it (i'm surprised I didn't crack it in two).

The only bad thing I'll say is that the air pump it comes with died on me last week- it just stopped having enough force to make bubbles and run the filter. I did leave it on 24hrs a day for 3 months - so i'm not sure if its made to be used for long durations. Anyway I got a new air pump for $9 and now its fine."
