"the tank size is good for one small goldfish or betta but not good for multiple fish! also the filter doesnt work almost at all! i would not recomend this tank."

"The tank is small and great for one betta! The tank is easily moved from one room to the next throughout the house. Once a day feeding and once a month water change when my eight year old son thinks of it has kept his betta alive for two years. The light is just enough for a night light and the front drawer holds a small jar of betta food and a spare filter. We never change the water and the filter at the same time. What a great first time aquarium for a kid!"

"I've had mine for 3 months and it works well. I especially like the adjustable light. I accidentally put the cover on my chair and sat on it one day. The cover cracked a little and I still use it (i'm surprised I didn't crack it in two).
The only bad thing I'll say is that the air pump it comes with died on me last week- it just stopped having enough force to make bubbles and run the filter. I did leave it on 24hrs a day for 3 months - so i'm not sure if its made to be used for long durations. Anyway I got a new air pump for $9 and now its fine."

"Filter motor is way to noisy, vibrates like crazy and doesn't filtrate to well...the tank is great but i will recomend to buy a filter per separate."

"The tetra water wonders 1.5 gallon aquarium did wonders for my female crowntail betta Bellatrix (Bella). For her first week at my house she lived in a bowl with no aeration or filtration. She was always depressed looking and would barely eat... UNTIL i put her in this. Ever since she has been active, eats well, and enjoys the new slow current coming from the whisper 3i filter. The water is clear and is aerated. So to all you betta lovers out there who need a similar solution... YOU HAVE FOUND IT!!! THANKS A BUNCH TETRA!!!!!!!!!"

"I have two bettas and it definataly wasen't the kind of tank for bettas unless you get a calmer filter. I thought that this tank was good, it wasen't one of those tanks where they leave out the items (I bought two and they both came with every thing the said that they would come with).The best part about it is that it actually came with a little compartment which was good for most things like small food containers.The tank is best for fish that can take the harsh kind of filters (if you're planning on keeping the filter it comes with)."

"I own two of these and they are perfect for one betta. I cannot comment on the filter system since all my previous attempts at cycling betta tanks ended badly. I use these tanks as 'betta bowls'. The light is great, the cover is a must and I can fit the Marineland Stealth Visi-Therm Submersible 25watt heater on the back wall (there is a little notch for the cord to come out the top too). My fish are happy and so am I!"

"Nice little tank, not too heavy or big, provides panoramic view of fish. I use it for my beautiful fantail goldfish. He seems to love it, the plants are nice, the filter is nice, and works very quietly as does the air pump. I added my own gravel and this is def. a nice little tank."

"I bought this tank after having 3 other fish tanks. My other fish tanks didnt come with a filter so i resolved to this one. I currently have one tetra a sucker fish and a betta in my tank. The tanks filter is pretty good its been filtering wter for about 5 days now but not doing a very good job my water is cloudy. The fish seem okay though."

"I bought this fish tank for Geeshy, our male Betta, on 02/27/2009 and I've never seen him happier! Bettas are very active, energetic fish, but this only comes to light when they have enough room to playfully swim around - and beg for food ALL the time.
This tank is the perfect size for our Betta. I have a Hydro Theo water heater in it keeping its temperature constantly between 79-80 - just the way he likes it!
It's a beautiful tank with a lamp that brings out the beautiful colors in Geeshy's kingdom. The hidden drawer is very handy, the lamp is bright enough to illuminate his beautiful black/blue/red coloring and the interior, and the plants that came with it are of good quality.
I've read reviews about the filter, but I don't use it so I can't give a review on it. I had replaced it with a hydro sponge filter that keeps his kingdom crystal clear while quickly providing the positive bacteria his tank needs. However, I do use the air pump provided to power the hydro sponge and although it was noisy at first, I solved that problem by just placing it on an Ikea coaster. Now you can't hear it anymore! It works perfectly fine.
All-in-all, this is an excellent tank for its price and I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family."

"This tank is very stylish looking and modern. It's also pretty compact so it's great for small spaces. The drawer underneath is also a nice touch.
My issues with it were with the filter/pump and the light. At first the filter bubbled over a lot and bubbles were leaking out of the connection at the bottom, but with some tweaking I was able to fix it. The pump is a little loud but you can cushion it with a small towel.
The light is nice in that it can be raised or lowered, however I don't think it's nearly bright enough.
Overall I'd recommend this with some reservations."

"I bought this tank 3 weeks ago and have been cycling it for my guppies who are having babies to seperate the fry. After about 2 weeks the filter has shot. Its putting out more bubbles than anything wont filter the water or anything. So now I have to go out and get a new filter fo such a small tank. It's been a good tank so far I just wish it came with a better filter."

"this tank is an awsome starter tank! when i got it i let the tank stablize for the 24hours which the box said. but i really wish that i let it run at least a week to let good bacteria form in the tank to help the filter after you put fish in it. when i got fish since there was no bacteria it got all cloudy from fish waste and food.but other than my mistake its a good tank.

"I got one of these for one of my male bettas. It is perfect size for a betta. And the filter keeps it so clean, I'll be able to add a couple otocinclus (tiny algae eaters). On mine, the filter did not work well at first, but it worked out. I like how it includes all that stuff. Really, all you need to buy is fish, gravel, and (optional) more plants. You can get more of the kind that stick into the little holes. I like this. And most kits that come with plants come with really BAD ones, but these are nice and real looking. Very good for bettas, guppies, otocinclus, or other small fish."

"This fish tank is the best. The one thing i do not like about it is the Filter. It's loud. I left the filter out. My betta does not need it. Then when the water starts to get dirty i can plug the filter in and let it filter the water.

"i bought this tank about 5 months ago and it was reasonable,i needed a new tank for my baby since the other one was old and the filter wasnt working right in it anymore.well when i bought it the filter was a bit confusing to put together.and it makes a bit of noise at night. thats why i rated it 4 paws .other than that ever since i put him into the tank hes been so happy and likes it.it was pretty simple to put together other than the filter, the bottom storage is pretty handy to to store food or other objects. so its been a good buy ever since no problem ever since and hasent broken so ,,yea buy it its pretty cool! mine changes light colors , blue or red."

"This aquarium is awesome!!!!!!!! it is a little small but it's great for housing guppies and a betta!!!!! the motor and filter are a little noisy but it's easy to get use to!! the filter motor has to be above where to tubing connets and the filter beginns or the water will not filter right! but I found a spot and this little fishy house is AWESOME!!!
