GOOD TANK!
Date: January 6, 2009
"this tank is an awsome starter tank! when i got it i let the tank stablize for the 24hours which the box said. but i really wish that i let it run at least a week to let good bacteria form in the tank to help the filter after you put fish in it. when i got fish since there was no bacteria it got all cloudy from fish waste and food.but other than my mistake its a good tank. i have 2 guppies and 2 neon tetras in my tank"

Really good, a couple minor issues
Date: December 4, 2008
"I got one of these for one of my male bettas. It is perfect size for a betta. And the filter keeps it so clean, I'll be able to add a couple otocinclus (tiny algae eaters). On mine, the filter did not work well at first, but it worked out. I like how it includes all that stuff. Really, all you need to buy is fish, gravel, and (optional) more plants. You can get more of the kind that stick into the little holes. I like this. And most kits that come with plants come with really BAD ones, but these are nice and real looking. Very good for bettas, guppies, otocinclus, or other small fish."

"I love these aquariums, they are compact and easy to clean. The filter is a bit noisy and the suction cups dont seem to stick for long but I would definitely recommend it to any one."

Best fish tank i have had
Date: November 1, 2008
"This fish tank is the best. The one thing i do not like about it is the Filter. It's loud. I left the filter out. My betta does not need it. Then when the water starts to get dirty i can plug the filter in and let it filter the water.
Buy this product."

"i bought this tank about 5 months ago and it was reasonable,i needed a new tank for my baby since the other one was old and the filter wasnt working right in it anymore.well when i bought it the filter was a bit confusing to put together.and it makes a bit of noise at night. thats why i rated it 4 paws .other than that ever since i put him into the tank hes been so happy and likes it.it was pretty simple to put together other than the filter, the bottom storage is pretty handy to to store food or other objects. so its been a good buy ever since no problem ever since and hasent broken so ,,yea buy it its pretty cool! mine changes light colors , blue or red."

What you get for the price
Date: July 30, 2008
"I have been using Eclipse System 3 from Maryland for over 8 years. This tank is one of top of the lines. We have some guppies in the Eclipse tank and had some goldfish in the small plastic tank without any filtration. The eclipse never needs to change water. Filter change will be maybe every 3 months. The goldfish tank needs water change every week so I wanted to upgrade it with one with filtration system. After reading reviews, I got Tetra Water Wonders. For the price (I paid $20), it is a great tank. Clear view. But as other reviews, the motor is loud especially since I have a very quite Eclipse tank. Also the motor needs to be placed higher than the filter unless you purchase an extra accessory that will let the motor place on the ground level. Also the filter needs to be changed more frequently (manufacture recommends every two weeks). It is a nice tank, but I still love my Eclipse."

Nice tank but came a LITTLE short
Date: July 26, 2008
"I ordered this online and decided to get two for both my babies. The space was very nice for both my bettas and I really liked the plug-in plants so they don't end up floating around. My only complaints are the air pump were a little too strong for such a small filter and it started to bubble and overflow. I also had to buy extra tubing since it is kinda loud so I wanted to put it on the floor. Eventually I will have to get the heater since the light doesn't really do anything, not even show off the colors on the fish, just not a fan of it. But overall I really do like the tank since I don't have to clean their tanks as often anymore. And of course they like it too!"

Very Nice Tank
Date: July 5, 2008

"Over all I really like the tank. The fish bowl just got to be a hassle when the water got murky. I have a Male betta (Cullen) in there, the only problem I have with that it is I think he can see a reflection in the corners. He always hangs out along the sides. I get worried that he will stress him self out. But other than that, it's a very nice tank."

"i bought this tank for my female guppies and betta and it turned out to be a very nice tank! the filter worked like a dream an was SOOOOOOO quiet. i loved the little draw and how hand the little light switch was. i gave it 4 paws because the light wasn't very bright and didn't heat the tank so i got a hydor mini heater (you can get them at petco or online... i think) and that kept the tank warm. a nice tank for a few guppies or bettas! enjoy!!!!"

Works for what I bought it for

"This tank is worth the money. It is easy to set up, comes with a convienent storage drawer and the fish love it. I had a suggish beta who is almost doing tricks in his new home. The only problem I had is the big bubbles that came out of the filter when I first set it up but that is just a personal thing. It goes away. I also like the fact that I don't have to stress the fish in order to change water and clean the tank. Great product."

"Me and my mom were out shoping for some drops for my new goldfish. We had a non-filter tank and it was getting very murkey so she had a idea to probly get a fish tank with a fillter so we checked the price and we thought it was reasonable so we got it and the filter was a little confusing to set up but other wise it was easy to set up and we put my goldfish in a boll, oh ya I forgot to tell you that the were eating nothing at all. When we put them in the new tank they semed happier than ever now they were eat all the food we gave them. This was a very good deal"

Perfect for Bettas!

"I was really impressed with this small tank! Its never given me any problems and it's quiet. The current from the filter isn't too strong so my betta is still comfortable but it is strong enough to keep the water clean! The storage drawer at the bottom is really useful."

Great tank
Date: May 14, 2008
"I ordered this tank from Petco.com a couple days ago. I've seen it in the store and for whatever reason it didn't impress me at the time so I got something else for my bettas. After purchasing more bettas and deciding they need something bigger than the 1/2 gallon betta kits but also something smaller than the two 2.5 gal mini bows I have, I settled on this tank. I have 3 of my 10 bettas in their own 1.5 gal tetra water wonders tank and they seem very happy. Aside from that, the lighting is very nice, show's their colors off better than the lights on my other tanks. It is a nice size for the betta but doesn't take up alot of room. It's very sleek looking and I also like the grid on the bottom which the plants snap into. I did not use the filter so I can't comment on that since I have alot of tanks with lighted hoods and I like to keep the lights on for them and there are only so many plugs available! If my other fish weren't so stressed from changing the majority of their tanks around this past week I would probably put them all in this particular tank. The tanks look awesome, the water looks clean and clear, the lighting is great, oh and it has a little drawer on the bottom for fish food or whatever. Awesome product!!!"

Great Tank
Date: May 12, 2008
"I got this tank yesterday, and I love it! I won a fish at the Lilac Festival, and I needed somewhere "Sunny" to live. He loves it, and there is even room for another goldfish and a couple of guppies! I love it! It doesn't take up much space, and the humming noise from the filter/air thingy is hardly noticeable (though I do have two noisy gerbils that I have gotten used to) This is a great product, and well worth the money! P.S. I thought that the kit came with gravel, which it didn't, so I ended up using marbles and a piece of coral. Don't forget to buy gravel! The plants are really cool, though. I would definitely recommend it! A great buy!"

Very nice smaller tank for the price.

"Love the built in plant grid so you can use less gravel and not have floating plants. My tank is a little crowded at the moment with 5 male guppies and 2 ghost shrimp but it is crystal clear with no water imbalances. Do not recommend it for messy fish. The filter cycles the water well enough but it will not remove large solids. I had problems with the suction cups not suctioning so a bought one of those magnetic clamps for the intake hose and that solved the problem of the filter floating. The pump can be noisy if you don't have it placed just right but you can always upgrade. The LED light does not heat up so the tank water will not overheat if you leave the light on for extended periods. You will probably have to get a heater. But that is far more precise then relying on the light to warm the water sufficintly in any aquarium. I haved moved the tank full of water. Not recommended but it did just fine. It will scratch so you have to be careful when cleaning the sides. Over all a well put together tank."

Great Tank!
Date: May 10, 2008
"I bought one of these tanks today. I had a larger tank with my guppies in them but they kept having babies so I wanted to separate the males and females. I bought this tank to put the males in. It was very easy to set up and looks great! I bought black gravel with some neon rocks mixed in and the way the light hits it makes it glow. Its beautiful! I am going to go back tomorrow to buy another tank to put the females in! It looks so much neater and takes up little space. I love it. I would recommend this to anyone! Great value!"
